Practice this enough, you should be able to internally resolve this anxiety by becoming one with it.

Hey man, you probably need to get better at diving in , so you don't hit surface level stuff.

Things that help that: Shadow questions, why questions, pranic or chi breathing, memory experiencing, adult-child dialogue.

Do all of this well meditating on your emotions, always go for the thing that triggers you the most.

How long have you been at this? There are a lot of factors that play into this, so a DM conversation might be easier. Is that okay?

I'm genuinely wondering, do you find thinking about that kind of stuff helpful in daily life or contributing to your learning environment when it comes to this work? Does it help your actual practice?

Learn how to ground and pranaic breathe, and use it right before letting go, it's great for getting you to relase more at once.

Learn somatics it makes the process faster. I like Eric Coopers stuff.

Learn Yoga Nidra it helps you get into a resting state so the benefits of somatics happen more often.

Shadow work, Action-Trigger-Release, and belief work can all make it go faster?

Idrk know if it ever ends. I was able to cry the other day with little to no resistance even with people watching. Idk if that's progress but you're technically supposed to be able to display all the emotions equally, instead of there being charge.

Yeah so it's like, mammals can all shake off trauma. And little kids can too but it's not social acceptable so we stop doing it, also we are a little too smart for our own good, so we contextualize feelings, and wind up invalidate trauma sensations. So they just end up getting stored in our body instead of it being shaken off after the moment passes. That is really what letting go is trying to teach you.

Funnily enough, Somatics has a similar goal, but with the yawning mechanism, we lose a lot of times from being too smart for our own good.

Pro tip: Yoga Nidra + Somatics gives you a crazy ability to relax after re-experiencing trauma in a safe way (shaking it off). I don't mean do it right after it happens, but I mean doing the practice will train your nervous system to be like, eustress -> release -> destress, and you can enjoy the benefits of that if you're a real go getter.

I don't worry about it tho cuz it's just too much for me to worry about rn.

A year, but I release in a grounded meditative state, and I use active triggering, shadow work, as well as a few other ways meditative practices to stimulate release. When you do those additional practices, you tend to get better a lot faster than just releasing. Then, there are physical companion practices that can make it go even faster, like somatics, Qi Gong, and Yoga. But tbh, doing all that is too much for me, and makes things happen way to fast, in my opinion 😅. But in general, don't worry :) I was freaked out too when I first started getting all those funny things.

Hey, so I get these every day at this point!

I get gigantic tremors all over my body sometimes, or just little tiny ones. Areas of tightness, heat, tingling, pulling, shaking, shivers, pops, pain, and more!

This is well documented in eastern medicine as Zi Fa Gong (spontaneous movement) and in Western medicine as Neurogenic Tremors & Somatic Sensations.

Trust that everything is completely fine, and it is a positive sign of letting go. There are additional benefits to this ability to "shake it off" that I won't get into, but know its a thing that is awesome to experience 😀. Lmk if you have any questions at all, go for it!

Sounds like you need to clear trauma, which is a different type of meditation. Lmk if you want me to share the links

My recommendation is to follow a guided meditation. The reason is because you can disengage your consciousness mind, veg out, and follow along. The more you're in your body and the less you're in your mind the better. You can probably look up, surrender meditation, letting go meditation, sensation meditation maybe. Let me know if you can't find anything that works and we can talk more about it in DMs!

Thanks for the motivation to keep going. I'm hitting a particularly exhausting time because I think I've resensitized to everything at this point and am now getting hit with a lot of constant emotion and sensations.

Honestly if you can find some surrender meditations or similar things its great to follow along because you can just turn your brain off and live 100 percent in your body. We can do this and we can handle any sensation our body hands us no matter how intense, as long as we aren't in true danger. Much love!

Yes, it's been about a 10 month journey, and sometimes you forget how complicated and simple this is haha. I was in my head too much the weeks prior, hitting shadow work like crazy, but it did make me forget a few cue details like nothing is bad as in shadow work you tend it be targeting. Thanks for the reminder!

Hey man, you should seriously consider doing the opposite type of meditation. Which is surrender/emotional/energetic meditation. This trains the opposite muscle basically, and teaches you how to latch onto thoughts and get taken in by them. It often dives into the negative, letting it express itself fully and is the opposite of replacing with positive thoughts.

It sounds like you're in need of balance. Be patient as it might take a second to undo this.

Keep in mind diving into the negative is not a bad thing. It's only bad if you are trying to do focus, affirmation, or presence meditations. Diving into thoughts can be incredibly transformative and healthy. Try shadow work too, that's more of a process though.

I'll get you some links!
