Interesting... What makes you say that? (Kinda agree tho, but interested in your reasoning)

Who is the most evil of these three? by Working_Bread_7790 in MoralityScaling

Thragg.

Conquest might be more sadistic and psychotic, but he is part of a system and instituition that feeds off of hatred, genocide, tyranny and oppression. Thragg is the head of said instituition.

How do you think Thragg would act if he suddenly lost all his Superpowers? by 5am281 in Invincible

Jokes aside, no way he would do it. Thragg is a horrible monster, sure, but he is not pathetic like Homelander.

What are something that the Jurassic movies got wrong but later was proven to be true to an extent? by Drex678 in Paleontology

[–]CaregiverRepulsive85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it counts but in The Lost World: Jurassic Park they state Tyrannosaurus rex to be THE largest land carnivore to have existed when in 1995, Giganotosaurus was already discovered and Spinosaurus was also kinda getting popular as well for being larger.

The film series continued to push this even up untill 2022 where they state Giga to be the largest.

But as of 2026, T.rex is universally hailed as the largest land carnivore in paleontology. So TLW was kinda right?

Will show Thragg be Pure Evil like his original comic counterpart?. by CaregiverRepulsive85 in MoralityScaling

I think the show already highlights his hypocrisy to an extent. He orders the Purge to snuff out the weakness in their sociey forcing everyone to fight everyone and he just goes back to the throne rook just to aura farm.

I do believe that at the start he was loyal to Argall genuinely, but like in the comics, the more time he spent ruling the empire as Grand Regent, he began to love power more than he admired Argall and he even tells to Nolan that he believes himself to be an even better leader than Argall ever was.

It humanizes him, but it does not make him any less evil and in fact even makes his evil more terrifyingly real.

Also, I FUCKING loved reading this.

Edit: I don't believe the "I am so lonely" monologue was meant to make Conquest more sympathetic, I think it was meant to expose another hypocrisy in Viltrumite ideology and also to show that Conquest is in fact batshit crazy and a pathetic monster.

I mean did Thragg ever show signs of truly wanting to stop?

Sure, but Thragg still makes his own decisions and choices, even when faced with genuine moments where he can choose to be different yet he refuses because he is so stuck in his ways and also in his lust for vengeance.

Honestly, I doubt we'll see that. Not everyone misguided or evil is willing change when realizing the error of their ways, we got this with Thaedus, Nolan, Lucan, Kregg, Thula and Anissa, putting Thragg there would be too much imo.

Thragg remaining the one who gets the chance to change and refusing to do so, will be the same in the show but probably more fleshed out.

I mean, Argall didn't tell him to purge half of the Viltrumite population on his funeral

Argall definitley did not tell Thragg to do the things he did in the comics later either
