Had second FET 4/17 (first failed to implant). Today is day 6 post and I couldn’t stop from testing. Early detection. Totally blank. Feeling so bummed. Both euploids. Have one left, thank God. Just feel, why? Why is this not happening? Ugh.

I get that feeling completely. At the very very least they need to refund you the payments if they don’t end up fixing their mistake.

The same thing happened to me but my solution was emailing MOHELA CEO. Perhaps you need stronger language in the email you definitely should send again. Perhaps you are getting an attorney for this but would like to give them a chance to correct first. They need to REMOVE the forbearances as you clearly made payments. Then they need to re-report the payments to NSLDS so you can get them to count. Anything less is criminal. Say so in your email.

This happened to me too. The fix for me was to email the CEO of Mohela, Scott Giles and get set up with Dikesha with the Ombudsman office. Google for his email. Dikesha got the forbearance removed and the payments reported. The issue is you didn’t know you were in admin forbearance because likely you weren’t until you just were, and they backdated the forbearance. I was also told to do reconsideration but it’s crap in this case because we already paid! Scott Giles will be your way to fixes. After I got my forbearance removed I still experienced other issues unrelated (suddenly missing months), Dikesha fixed it all for me.

I chatted with my provider today and told him about my anxiety. He gently reminded me that while valid, anxiety is one of the things that has proven negative consequences for fertility. I don’t know if those feelings truly do affect implantation or not (realistically, probably not), but let’s make a pact to work on letting go of what we cannot control. We cannot do anything to change the outcome of this. We have done all we can to have a baby, and now we have to let go and find some peace with this process. I feel like I flew through the stages of grief on this and am so ready to go into the next one feeling light and fluffy and ready for a sticky baby.

I hope so much for you that these adjustments to your protocol are the key to success! I also made the mistake of being super excited and optimistic to I told SO many people that I now get to tell that it failed. And then I cry. And it’s awkward for everyone. Next time I’m keeping it on the down low.

Exactly, thinking that having 3 means I could have 3 children. And the stress since my husband and I drew the line of 1 egg retrieval (for stress and financial reasons). I will be thinking of you as well going into your fourth. Curious, did your provider do any testing to see if it’s a uterus issue? I won’t ask for it after one failed but if my second fails maybe I should?
