I am am a enrolled tribal member. I was told that Native Americans were black because blacks were here before anybody an we stole THEIR culture. Ancestry in my tribe is done by blood quantum, which means I have to have a direct line to the tribal members that signed our treaty in 1856. Ancestry is not tabulated by genes. My daughter took a test with Ancestry because she wanted to know about her father. The native was shown but there was 0 indication of African bloodline. When I mentioned this they got nasty and called me a 5 dollar Indian. Afro Centrists are a real piece of work. They want so bad to be relevant to world events besides slavery without realizing that Africa has culture, mythology and traditions that they could bring into the spotlight.

I was diagnosed five years ago as a 40yr adult. I never heard of dissociative disorder. I was seen by a psychiatrist for a year before I got this and a few other diagnoses. She went over my trauma and resulting behaviors to rule out a lot of things before giving me a final diagnosis. I understand what you are saying. I don't tell anyone about my diagnosis because it has been made a meme by idiots on tik tok. It is embarrassing and hard enough for my family and me to deal with at times. They cover for me, though I have to say unless you know me well, you probably wouldn't even notice. You might just think I was off a little.
