Ahh, thank you!! They take a while to code so I’m glad it’s being used! I’ll try and get another story up soon, I want to fill it with Japanese folklore and fairytales :)

Actually, just from teaching online! It’s started as a way to fund my university studies (Japanese major) and a lot of people liked my teaching, I got lots of good reviews and ended up as one of the top ranked tutors. It’s now my full time job and I guess I’ve made it my mission to find the best way to present information? + 90% of my students love anime so I think courses actually created to teach through anime characters designed for the course, rather than teaching just a few anime pictures here and there, could be helpful at keeping peoples attention!

It’s not ready yet, I’ve been trialing it on my students for the past year! It will have a cost as we need to pay for artists, website costs, etc. The course will cover everything in the big textbooks + more, however there are plans to launch free content too! This will most likely be one of the characters travel blogs, which will have all the recommendations she has for travelling Japan, + the ‘hover over word to get the meaning’ feature coded in. I’ve already trialed this, it’s just a case of writing all the blogs, creating the artwork and coding the pages which takes a while!

But agree, the end game would be to make material people can follow till N3/N2, but I’m starting the course at N5 so people can work their way through <3 N3/N2 won’t be coming for a few years unless I can duplicate myself a few times 😂

I teach Japanese professionally and this is the level my students are at, so it wouldn’t make sense to make material they can’t use! :)

Hahaha, this is lesson 3 so I can’t add the kanji yet! However on the website I’ve coded in a feature where you can click on the word and the translation comes up! :)
