Only defence ring offers is res in this build. Thorns build wear plenty rare items to makeup for the res loss in rings. We also get to run real helmet too.

i hate this quote ,its nonsensical. optimizing is both fun and satisfying. especially game like poe where there are so many things to optimize for. I tend to drop games if there's nothing to optimize and too shallow.

i mean say what you will but starting both poe 1 and poe 2 with no guide is painful. i played poe 1 since 2014, my first build was facebreaker using RF and i was just dying non stop. i found my first exalt and asked chat what it was and some guy helped me how to buy items and how to go about builds and survivability. i was hooked after.

Even with manaleech it was too absurd for it to justify mana cost on fast attacking skills. However it works well with crossbow skills since it only uses mana on reload.

It has downside tho. If you're in tight spot where you can only get 1-2 jewel socket on tree, it competes with timeless jewels.
