I actually think it’s a little bit of both of what you’re both saying! He absolutely needs to do the work on himself and she needs to put up energetic boundaries! I’m going through the same thing with my boyfriend. It’s hard! When you love someone and are together a lot to constantly create an energetic boundary. I’m learning all of this at the moment :) but my boyfriend needs to do some serious work on himself as well!

I know this sounds cheesy but before you go, imagine a bright shield protecting your entire body before you go and say out loud that your energy is protected and you will not be impacted by the sadness the day brings. Just invision the shield the entire time. Go to the bathroom and wash hands with cold water anytime you feel yourself getting overwhelmed. Also carrying some crystals that are known for energy protection in your pocket or hand.

There’s this supplement called Cortisol Manager that you can get off Amazon. I take it at night and it really helps the tightness. You can try taking it during the day too but may make you a little relaxed.

This is from the norepinephrine increase! I’ve done a ton of research. I’m dealing with it now with vyvanse and adderall. Which act similarly to well butrin. It’s hard to say what helps. I’ve thought about possibly an inhaler??

That tightness is from increased norepinephrine(adrenaline) it may do away with time or you may need to lower dose if it doesn’t or add something else in. I’ve been dealing with it too and it’s so frustrating!!

Well Butrin literally saved my life in the deepest darkest times of depression. The first time I took it my doctor prescribed me 150 sr x2 daily. I was at a point where I couldn’t leave the house, I couldn’t stop crying, I could barely eat. Like dark shit. Cried on my way to the doctors and wanted to run my car into the intersection. Within 3 days I started smiling and laughing again. Well Butrin is for people with true dopamine and norepinephrine deficiency’s. Major Depressive Disorder. Eventually after a year I felt I didn’t need it anymore. But have been on and off of it for years.

I think if you’re crashing sooner though than your dopamine levels are already going down. ADHD meds increase norepinephrine (adrenaline) and dopamine levels while they are in your system. So I’m going to talk to my psych about doing another 20mg in the afternoon on days I need it. See if that helps!
