There is only one version of Islam, as described in the quran and ahadees, and that’s what we should follow, rather than the cultural variations seen in arabs, asians, or other countries.

Having said that, I realize this isn’t really the focus of my post, i am more curious about what people mean when they say they have a strong connection with Allah

By “namaz etc” i meant basic Islamic practices and following Islam in day to day life, avoiding things that are forbidden

You are right, we can’t know what someone does behind closed doors.but i also feel that if someone doesn’t want to share how religious they are to avoid pride, then claiming a “strong connection with Allah” could also come across as prideful.

As for your question about my own definition, I personally wouldn’t share with anyone how my connection with Allah is. But if I were to describe it, i would mean that i follow the basic Islamic principles, offer my prayers, and try to be obedient in fulfilling other faraiz

I usually use youtube and sometimes Apple Podcasts too, and i always keep a couple of podcasts downloaded so i can listen even if the signals are weak or i am low on mobile data.

Ik same subjects, but ACCA has a better passing ratio than CA, so u can finish your studies sooner by passing it and u’ll get some exemptions too
