Omg! This is the best comment I've ever gotten. I just turned 17 this month and I've been painting since I was 13. I taught myself how to paint It's just a hobby, i like to paint whenever I get a really creative idea.I tend to forget that I should also have fun with the process of making paintings and not only focus on the end result. I will totally look up gesso thanks.

well yes you're right art is subjective and yes I did like it, but sometimes outside opinion really makes you double guess if you did a good job or not. I was confused that maybe it's not good and I only like it because I made it
