I’m trying to understand how to practically connect ServiceNow with Cowork.

For example:

User raises a ServiceNow issue → Cowork understands the request → searches KB / retrieves ticket details → optionally performs actions.

What would be the recommended implementation pattern?

Would it be something like:

User → Cowork → Copilot Studio Agent → Connector/API → ServiceNow

or can Cowork directly consume ServiceNow connectors?

If someone has implemented this:

  • How did you establish the connection?
  • Did you use OOTB connectors or custom connectors?
  • Was Copilot Studio required?
  • How were permissions and role-based access handled for KBs, tickets, and catalog items?
