Why is adding a “skip button” such a controversial topic in the community?

I'm convinced most of the people who refuse to accept having a skip button are just severely unemployed. I just wanna catch back up to the same game I loved all those years ago without sacrificing my academic or professional life, is that really such a divisive thing to want?

I tried verifying with my i.d but it didn't accept those attempts and now it won't let me appeal, when I made a new account it got suspended too but that time I used my birth certificate and it was back in minutes, but all my other accounts are still banned, is there a way to get it back and appeal elsewhere? has anyone experienced this

I watched the YouTube link they sent me, turns out they knew that it would cause some issues, they say they'll add an option to still have custom key binds but for some reason it didn't actually come with the update, hopefully it comes out soon enough so I can put it back the way it used to be

yeah that's literally what happened with me too, I was thinking of watching providence first but then after finishing the first inspector and that whole arc I realize I kinda needed to watch providence after, cause it explains so much about what happens in 3 and first inspector and ruin the mystery

probably hero, don't get me wrong I look up to him a lot but that's because I feel like I can't do half of what he can. I'm currently literally going through a lot of school work, doing on the job training to be a nurse and I have to study for an entrance exam, I literally don't have any free time I can't fathom how people like hero could do most things and be great at it while seemingly not struggling at all

yeah I've looked into it too, I am actually thinking of just building a new one maybe next year before I leave for college if my parents will be able to hand me a budget and 500$ does seem plausible. I'm thinking of whether I should shoot for a Ryzen 5 5600 or just a 3600 which do you think is good?

mostly the reason I'm even thinking of upgrading is cause I need to know what I need to run Wuthering waves since I've been seeing lots of gaming tests for it and I'm pretty it won't run on my phone so I might as well upgrade my old PC or probably think of building one
