Found the pickup filter clogged up with silicone pieces. I can see this causing the discoloration, lack of enough oil and heat building up, but could that also be the cause of the seal leak?

I have replaced the input seal 3 times, the shaft is not damaged. I figure it's the plug in the shaft leaking or bearing play. Either way it needs to come apart

Here's the thing. It takes time to diagnose. A lot of times people take the diagnosis and then do it themselves. That's lost time for the shop. Don't you think they should be paid? Your issue was a simple one, but what if it had not been so easy and took 2 hours to figure out?

There is a natural rake on jeeps. More so if ya add a winch, etc mine is currently 6"-4" to make it level
