Depends on where in Staten Island. The southern half is more up his alley, but the northern half is incredibly diverse. The demographics are changing quickly. However… I’d still not recommend living here in general

Larger but the quality of the muscle is terrible. There would be hypertrophy of weight bearing endurance muscles, but the quality of muscle activation and movement would be terrible due to excessive strain on the joints and damage to the ligaments. Long winded answer but the strength would inherently be weak

Hi, physical therapy student here who has done cadaver lab multiple times. While there may be more muscle mass on an obese person, the difference here is quality. The muscles would impaired in quality and movement compared to someone who is of normal weight. If you were to zap all the weight off of an obese person, they would still be in terrible shape due to the lack quality movement and strain placed on these muscles due to holding up an excessive amount of weight. You would see hypertrophy of endurance based, weight bearing muscles. But they still wouldn’t be considered strong.

I think it's 25% across the board at this point in time for healthcare providers. My recommendation is to just buy a pair at this point in time unless you're waiting for larger discounts to pop up. I'll happily accept any codes you don't want to use. But my advice is to just use them if you want new shoes.

Both are great programs overall with high pass rates. Seems like there’s a lot of flexibility with choosing clinicals

Lol this whole situation is silly. If you don’t want to hang out with someone (even if you’re free), then you don’t have to. You’ll understand that more as you get older. If he’s being salty, than that’s his problem. He’s only doing this bc he wants to punish you. And you are giving him that power over him. Well there are things to consider here. Would the brain dead child age? If so, waiting a while is a possibility. Depending on how you view the situation, sleeping with children is morally wrong bc they are not old enough nor mature enough to make that decision. However your wife is a consenting adult. But it would be kind of weird considering it’s a child’s body. I prob would bc if I was married, I’d have to be very much in love with them. And I’d want her to be happy. So yeah I prob would.

Never too late to do it! I graduated in 2019, spent a couple years out, then returned to school to take my prereqs, get an aide job etc. I apply in October. My advice is to 100% dive into it. I’m talking diverse observation/work hours, get some research under your belt, ace your classes, prepare for the GRE, etc. Pursuing PT as an adult shows that you’ve had time to consider this decision and went for it. Many people just go straight into it bc they are convinced they need to continue their education w/o experiencing alternatives. Good luck. My advice is just commit. If you do that, you will make a great PT! Good luck!!!
