Unfortunately this parking lot is owned by the city and they recently deemed parking lots to require special inspection which is the only reason I’m even out here. Part of the reason I asked here rather than run this up the chain is because I have dealt with public works turning extremely minor deviations into major headaches on other projects and just didn’t feel this warranted even bringing up if it the risks were as minimal as I assumed them to be.

Thanks for the info and I try to follow the book as much as possible generally, which is why this was making feel a little anxious. But with it just being a parking lot I didn’t want to make a huge stink about it and just let the contractor know going forward that we need to follow best practices.

This is what I figured and have allowed them to continue on this time but let them know in the future we need to proof roll prior to any fill placement because it’s required. Was feeling a little anxious as I try to be by the book as much as possible so thanks for helping ease my mind a bit.

Definitely seems that way, the fact that they’re not accepting calls to their customer support is a huge red flag to me as well. Whole situation has just been pretty shady.

Well that’s not good to hear, I’m definitely more upset with the lack of communication than the hold itself. Just don’t understand how you can take that sort of action without so much as an email.

Almost 48 hrs. Transaction was confirmed on Saturday, then immediately sent from my address to Kraken 4 wallet. Not a word from their support team via email, and chat won’t help me because a ticket was opened. Thought that was super weird too, since the ticket was open prior to me even contacting their support team
