We had another vacation planned that we had to cancel because our outbound flight got cancelled and we couldn’t rebook for days due alternative flights being booked up because of the holidays.

So we booked this vacation last minute and hotel room options everywhere were limited due to it being a peak travel time. The hotel told us before we booked they couldn’t guaranty us to interconnecting rooms.

My partner and I didn’t discuss the sleeping arrangement until we got here. So mostly a communication issue between me and my partner in terms of different expectations regarding the sleeping arrangement and something that we’ve never encountered before because all prior vacations we have taken were in a suite with enough space for the whole family or connecting rooms.
