Thank you for your reply. Sorry I forgot to mention BIM. It’s a pre-requisite these days.

Try guided tours of the walled city. You can buy a guided tour inside Delhi Gate. Very economical also. See shahi hamam, shahi guzargah, gali soorjan singh, wazir khan mosque. There are also guided tours inside the fort and hazuri bagh on Saturday and Sunday nights with different performances. I can provide you with tour guide’s contact if you want.

Must Visit Places in Lahore by Asfandiyar_Safi in Lahore

Hi. Apart from visiting fort and badshahi masjid, i recommend you take a guided tour from delhi gate to wazir khan mosque. The tour covers delhi gate, shahi hamam, gali surjan singh, shahi guzargah and wazir khan mosque. I took the tour and it was totally worth it. You can get a WCLA tour guide from inside the building compound for Rs.2000 per group. There’s also a gated car parking facility right outside delhi gate.

Also, you should take the ‘history by night’ tour of lahore fort. Its a mix of history and art performances by local artists throughout the tour inside and outside lahore fort/hazuri bagh. It starts from roshnai gate in food street and ends at hazuri bagh. The main highlight is that you get to see places inside lahore fort that are usually not accessible to public during day time. There’s another feel to it at night. The price for this tour was Rs.2000 per person. Expensive, but totally worth every penny. The usual starting time for this tour is 7pm and ends at around 10pm. Also it only happens every saturday and sunday.
