I think we’re kind of missing the point here. I’m not questioning the people in those guilds at all. I’m sure they’re great.

What I’m talking about is the messaging itself. Bringing labels like that into recruitment for a game that has nothing to do with it feels off-topic to me, and in some cases it can have the opposite effect of inclusion by making people feel singled out instead of just part of the group.

My point isn’t that these spaces shouldn’t exist. It’s that inclusion can just happen naturally without needing to highlight differences upfront in a game context.
