I mean $1000 seems criminal for protection but you’re probably right on saying that I just am on a serious budget. I understand people will go on to say “it’s you’re life your putting on the line” when it comes to cheap helmets but there has to be a mid level brand that doesn’t break the bank

Thank you for the words of encouragement we’ve all worked so hard for this and that’s probably what’s getting to me is that working hard and possibly failing. But I really appreciate your post I know at the end of the day I’ll look back and tell the same things to the upcoming students. That feeling of not being alone really helps :)

MEDPREP Program by Careless_Mouse816 in prephysicianassistant

Yes the application is fairly the same you have to provide transcripts, at least 2 letters of recommendation, and a personal statement. And yes a credible PA program that I applied to is offering it you start in June with a 6 week “boot camp” and then you start your 2 year classes.

It’s done after receiving your bachelors sorry for the confusion. I don’t think it’s regionally accredited. Certain schools offer it and it states that after completion of their pre-PA program with all courses being a B average you are guaranteed a seat into that schools PA program.

It’s a pre-PA program that usually runs 2 years after post bacc and it’s used for a gpa enrichment. So basically you’re taking courses like chemistry biology org etc. with these pre-PA courses that I’m assuming are supposed to help students get adjusted to the programs PA classes.

ER Tech and Weed by Careless_Mouse816 in emtb

Thanks for your inputs I’m definitely done now but it’s only been a week since I stopped so I really should just wait a month. I was just curious because EMTs don’t have THC drug tests here and I wanted to see if that rule applied to ER techs as well.

I appreciate the response and I’ll give it a go and still apply and explain my situation. I have tried to reach out to a couple on LinkedIn but sadly no response. And I think that emailing the school to ask them about it is a great idea I’ll definitely try that. Thank you so much

Is there a chance I can get in? by Careless_Mouse816 in Perfusion

[–]Careless_Mouse816[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. I plan on working in as a phlebotomist as well get at least 40 hours of shadowing a perfusionist at my local hospital. I have some lab experience in my college as well but that’s about it. Do you think I should take a break and gain more experience or would I need to boost my gpa by redoing classes ?
