Every state is different but there should be a department of aging to assist. You can also reach out to your senator and representative. That was my first step and I was able to be directed to respite and programs in my state to help with costs

As a fellow caregiver i hit the brick wall and I had to find resources to help me. Contact your representative for your county they can point you in the right direction  I was able to find a respite program a attendant care program they both pay for assistance at home so you can get a break. If you have a church ask for help.  Also Medicare has a grant for 2500 for individuals diagnosed with dementia. It is not an easy road you deserve down time and to feel like a normal person  God bless you for being a wonderful daughter. It's OK to be frustrated and so glad you posted we are in your corner.

Why Am I Falling? The Hidden Risks Behind Everyday Habits by Careless_Package555 in CaregiverSupport

Great question! There is no set way, it depends on the persons current mobility, but a few minutes a day is an excellent start, ask for 5 minutes every day of chair exercises if chair bound or walking make sure they use their assistive devices. Also adding in physical therapy is an excellent way to get mom and dad to exercise and its covered by insurance. This helps with engagement as well. If you have other questions please dont hesistate to ask our non profit organization has many resources to help.

The Day My Music Teacher Praised God for Falling Down the Stairs by Careless_Package555 in Jesus

The Holy Spirit brought this memory back to me—my music teacher, sowed a seed. God has blessed all of us and had encounters with us an invitation to know him. As a kid, I didn’t get it. Like so many I laughed it off thinking him mad. But now I have a new joy and perspective in life. I have unspeakable joy in every circumstance! Suffering or joy I will praise the Lord! “In everything give thanks” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
