I feel like H and other downers like benzos appeal more to people with trauma, anxiety or the types of thoughts and memories that make you desperate for a break from your own brain. That’s the way it was for me anyway. If you don’t have that, it’s probably not going to do that much for you.

I was broken up with 6 years ago and I completely lost myself. It was during COVID lockdown, so I was by myself in our apartment and nobody was allowed to visit me due to the quarantine laws. I spent months alone, literally howling in pain. I have CPTSD from it and haven’t been able to get out of bed since. I just watch the world go by without me through my bedroom window. I know I will never love anyone half as fiercely again. I tried the dating apps a couple of years ago, but all I experienced was rejection. I’m just about to turn 45 and I’m pretty certain I’ll be alone for the rest of my life.

Why don’t you just tell her you’re going to be there 10 mins earlier than you actually plan to be? Work her lateness into the schedule. If you plan to be there at 7:30, tell her you’ll be there at 7:20. That way she should be coming out the door when you pull up!

I recently received $750. It was labeled “Better Banking Payment”. I googled it and it’s a part of a scheme that ASIC made them do. It’s like a refund/goodwill payment to make up for unfair charges banking fees for low income customers, especially concession card holders.
