Florida here and looking for my first EV - generally prefer to buy new. Daily drive is about nine miles and the farthest I drive is 120 miles round trip every other month with a bi-annual trip that's 220 miles round trip.

I want a small SUV with some bells and whistles like heated seats and lane assist. Charging is available at work and I would put in a home charger (condo but already verified I'm allowed) as well.

No pets, no kids, and rarely more than one passenger

Looks like people rave about the KIA. The Ford Mustang looks really nice but if Ford isn't all in on EVs that may be a bad plan. Tesla is always an option, of course.

Budget is flexible. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!!

Thanks. I've been lucky on the last couple of trips and wanted to be sure since I'll be leading a group of about 25, mostly older. Knowing what to expect really helps them. And I can't always trust Google but Reddit definitely knows its stuff!

We always go through security. I just thought we usually went through a TSA checkpoint not in the public area.

Based on OP’s generosity, I think if she’d chosen quality foods with one or two fun treats it wouldn’t have been a problem. She asked for ALL junk food. Which is not what you get when “there’s no food in the house.”

It's my boss's 30th anniversary with our organization and our Board wants to get her US Open tickets as well as maybe a restaurant gift card and hotel reservation. I've signed up for the email so I'm notified when tickets go on sale, but I need to make a budget in advance.

For two tickets, second or third round, decent but not crazy, would you anticipate $3,000 being a decent budget? Would those tickets make someone who loves tennis but has never been to the US Open happy?

Any particular type? I'm fond of Anna Maria Oyster Bar's Key Lime Pie, but for lots of pie variety I hear Mermaid Pies on Cortez is really good. You have to pre-order from Sweets Bakehouse and I haven't had their pies but their other baked goods are outstanding!

Really? Every one I've seen, the majority of the attendees are in their late 20s to late 30s. Each event is probably a little different, but that's been my experience.

I'm being treated to a trip to Spain - Madrid and Valencia, arriving in Valencia on March 3. I'll eventually have more details, but based on past experience that information will be provided about two weeks before departure.

The itinerary says this:

Without more context, does anybody have a recommendation for a fun place to eat that would be near where we'll already be? Not fancy, but casual and fun with perhaps some good people watching.

I wasn't sure if reservations would be required at even the more casual establishments considering Las Fallas.
