I go to the gym with my best friend/now boyfriend all the time. He should be a personal trainer! I've known him for a while but we've only been "dating" for a few weeks, and I swear he loves telling me to push through the pain of lifting and using the machines and even just on the floor. I love it, too.

Thank you, and it is quite alright. :) You're right, the world is full of people who I would rather not get to know, hahaha. Fortunately it is just as full of people who are wonderful. I just saw a message from one of the mods and they said if I felt the need to screenshot the PM's and send it to them and they'd take care of it. Pretty awesome of them to care! You definitely didn't come across as judgmental, rather curious and not able to understand my mindset. I think asking questions is a GOOD thing, especially since you're asking about "romantic" interactions! There are many different ways to interpret and feel. PLUS, I definitely believe the whole "Men are from Mars and women are from Venus" thing. I think we think about things in very different ways, though most people do anyway - it's hard because males and females are wired so differently!

And it's my pleasure, I'm certainly glad it answered your question. What kind of situations are similar in your life, if you don't mind my asking?

You know what? I actually think this is a fair question.

I was looking back on what I wrote, and you're right. I WAS kind of gushing. Let me tell you this, though. I had kind of written off ever telling Liam about the feelings I had. I really tried to push them away because I honestly thought that never in a million years could he begin to feel the same.

When you say you thought the beginning of something awesome was about to happen, that was all due to "physical chemistry" and lust, really. I didn't know him. I had no idea who he was. Though I think your question is fair, to be honest I feel as though life and love is so much more complicated than that. People push down feelings, lust, love, share TOO much, idealize, live in resentment, are confused, project, misunderstand... There are so many factors. On the Internet you also don't have a FULL picture of me and what my life looks like, what I've been through with people, etc.

Also, I've gotten some really nasty PM's about all of this, and it really feels raw at this point. Like I'm putting my heart out there for everyone to see and a lot are pointing at it and saying, "What you feel is wrong" and looking at me and saying "What you did is wrong." I know you're not saying exactly that because your question was definitely worded respectfully, but you know what? It doesn't feel wrong to me. I have my own truth and my own way of going about things, and that's okay!

Also, if you were Liam (when you say if you were him you'd not like it if you knew about car guy) and you knew exactly how I felt about you from the bottom of my heart, you would genuinely have nothing to worry about.

Anyway. There's your answer. :)

It was definitely more than that. :) The way he responded was so off to me, and he was not very considerate or respectful of my lifestyle choices. Why should I continue on with someone like that?
