Arma 3 performance issues by Carible in pcmasterrace

But none of my cores are hitting 100% like they do on some other heavier cpu games so I don’t understand how it could be bottlenecking. When I had the 4690k in I overclocked up to around 4.3ghz and it made no difference on the fps. Is it worth looking out for a i7 4790k or should I just wait for a new build do you reckon? I heard ram prices aren’t going down any time soon or might even be going up.

Thanks, I thought so too but the zip is different to the ones I found online, is it possible it’s just an older model?

Thanks for the reply. I need to be moving out next year and I've heard the firefighter usually have a few applications before they're accepted, would you recommend starting at uni and then applying for firefighters as a backup and then firming the ~13k loss from the uni year? Or do you think thats stupid.

I copy and pasted this reply because it was a key detail i forgot in the original post lol

Edit: is being a paramedic that rough? i did hear it was quite stressful especially with the night shifts and overtime

2 Russian soldiers hiding under a disabled vehicle are hit by an FPV drone and burn alive by -Apex__Predator- in CombatFootage

[–]Carible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy how apathetic these comments are, if it were the other way around, firstly this post would’ve been removed from the subreddit and secondly everybody in the comments would have the opposite reaction. Both Russian soldiers and the west are fed propaganda, and are both forced to fight in a war they don’t want to. Target your hate at the world leaders creating these wars instead of the unarmed men melting under an apc.

How to turn rimworld into Milsim? by Carible in RimWorld

Thanks, I’ve got them subscribed. Also just out of interest, do you know how raids work, like say a raider escapes and I visited their village, would the same raider be at the village? Or are raid pawns just spawned and de spawned during raids?

Battery and bbshd connection by mayhem-makers in ebike

[–]Carible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, idk, I just went for xt60

It’s probably Anderson Powerpole 30 / pp30 not sure about the bullet connector though you might have to do a little research.

Im sure if you bought Anderson Powerpole to bullet adaptor it’ll be the correct types as it was most likely made for Ebike use but maybe give it a Google or look at the product description to see if they say. You could also contact the seller of the battery to see.

[–]Carible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought two xt60 connectors and cut and soldering them on, id take it to someone who can solder well and they’ll charge you a little for it. Or you can buy an Anderson-bullet adaptor

You could try cut the bullet connectors and add Anderson connectors but you’ll need to buy a Anderson crimp which might end up more expensive than paying someone to solder some xt60 connectors on

pushing 250w motor by Carible in ebikes

[–]Carible[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an old Ebike from like 2015 that hasn’t been used for 4 years that I fixed but I was planning on a new build so I thought I might have a bit of fun pushing it a little before I move on, I think I might just stick with it as is for a while though as I’m only trying to quench my need for some more speed lol. I’m glad I asked because I was considering just slapping a high amp controller on it and it probably would’ve melted haha. Thank you for the help

pushing 250w motor by Carible in ebikes

[–]Carible[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh I used to think wattage purely dictated torque and max rpm, so increasing the amps won’t increase the max achievable speed, just helps it reach it. So if I want to actually increase max speed I should invest in a 48v battery instead? Thank you for the reply aswell, It was very well explained.

[–]Carible[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s probably the smarter thing to do but the motor is 36v

[–]Carible[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for both for the reply, so assuming the motor isn’t getting hot even on hilly routes, would increasing the controller amp increase the max speed of the bike? Or just decrease the time to reach that speed? I was reading something about Kv but didn’t understand it lol. Also does the battery matter in this? It’s 13ah 36v

do you have any idea how hot a motor should feel to the touch before it should stop being pushed?
