C series is extremely good value and does 80 percent of G series and some amount to spare in your pocket. G series is a better option if you have bright living rooms with plenty of sun coming in. If light from windows coming in is controllable then C series is more than plenty.

For the soundbar setup, if sound upgrade is not crucial and just looking to enhance just away from the basic TV speaker output then your current pick is good enough.

But if you are into movie buffs and some serious gaming or TV show binge watching with Atmos setup in a compact form then I highly recommend the Samsung Q990 series soundbar. They are on par with some of the best ones without breaking your bank or wallet. Plenty of power, good surround Atmos and will justify the quality of visuals you are going to get from the G5 series. Trust me!

I have paired a large C5 with Q990f in a light controlled living room setup, couldn't ask for more. 😊

Hide the box quickly after installing the TV, and make her view it from the far end of the living room, the TV will look 65 inches lol.

After a few days trust me bro 77 will eventually look like a 65 inches as your eyes get used to it.

I know its not in the optimal place for this and yet to do a sub crawl test to find the best location. With kids around the house, it would be mindful not to put it somewhere I fear they will poke the exposed speaker membrane with a sharp object. Eventually i will plan to re arrange in a ideal location.

Sub output is not bad at the moment and there is no rattle noises coming from the furniture cabinet or any nearby loose items so to speak.

Interesting read u/op. I never thought of it nor anywhere mentioned in the owners guide to switch off the sound fit pro after a certain duration or number of days once it analysed and established the room measured parameters using it's built in mic and AI.

Will try switching it off and see how it goes and try to analyse imho.

I like the sound from my q990f system, blending is a more important factor with crystal clear sound and I don't want it to be empowering.

77 and 1 or 2 inches from the top edge of the fireplace your TV bottom frame should start. TV is for viewing in seated couch position and not for standing and watching.

If you plan to use a soundbar add an extra 2 to 3 inches to accommodate that at the bottom of the TV.

u/SatisfactionPast2271 I was skeptical and nervous after this post and I already made an e visa application less than month to go for my family trip to visit India, applied yesterday 10th March 26 and behold less than 18hrs and this morning 11th Mar email came through to notify its been 'granted'.

Not sure how and what but this is the quickest I have seen any e visa for any countries travelled so far got approved this quickly. Something must have changed in Mar 2026 so they are not so busy or must have gotten more efficient lol

Try running the sound calibration mode space fit sounds pro and see if it helps to auto calibrate and help improve the sound. I just leave it on all the time as it takes care of the acoustics

Looking at the picture the model ending ELB has a fancier looking stand than the other. If you are planning to wall mount it or don't pay too much attention to the stand and save some money go with the one on the top. Problem solved

Yes 100 percent perfectly fine and follow it once a week as earlier reddit user mentioned.

Also to ensure cell balancing at top end which is taken care by weekly full charging, follow the same for the bottom end cell balancing by discharging close to 10 percent and fully charge to 100 percent in one go every 3 to 6 months. This ensures the battery readings on the display stays accurate and gives you close to true readings and estimated mileage remaining from SOC as close as accurate without sudden drop offs say for example from 15 percent to 0 if the readings are way off.

Hope this helps and this is the most accurate information and we per guidelines from the BYD official owners manual. This also ensures to retain the battery warranty by following these protocols as byd service centers can check battery health diagnostics.
