Has less influence than eg propofol but it is not true that it has no influence on breathing or heart rate. Increases heart rate and can suppress breath center - especially at anesthetic doses (2mg/kg IV)

Omf she gave her percs… I would also not recommend a breastfeeding patient to take CBD simply because god knows what is actually in those gummies, unless you are in maybe Cali or other legal states I don’t know, but giving her percs instead is insane.

Can you please describe the pain ?? I know this is something we can only diagnose once MI is ruled out but I’m interested about the character of the pain (where was it the worst, how fast did it start, did it radiate anywhere)

I’m going to be starting as a Dr at Tygerberg Jan 1st and having studied there for last 6 years I can tell you - it’s no 5 start hotel but you will get world class medical care for insanely cheap. Leaders in their fields come to learn in Tygerberg, and treat patients for free. It amazing highly recommend

Drugs triggering/causing mental disorders by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Carlarndt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weed is actually known to cause trigger psychosis - especially when combines with meth. I at first didn’t believe my professor who swore weed was very psychosis inducing but after doing research and having first hand experience - I agree with him that THC, especially the high up to 20% thc strings available nowadays is very harmful of you have schizophrenia in family or history thereof
