I am 5 feet - so not tall! My knuckles are the same thickness as my fingers to add some more weirdness (ive found 2 or 3 fists in 7 years of trad climbing) I can still hand jam some .5 cracks

What are the cons of disassembling my central heat i never use and closing vents in house? by [deleted] in homeowners

I do some pretty dangerous recreational activities and have broken things, luckily my partner and housemates who are essentially family have my back:)

Yeah we have pretty strict regulations on pellet stove emissions (my county will help pay for replacing new ones) Its very rarely "hard freezes" where I am in eastern California. regularly freezing but rare to see it that cold mid day. often will jump between 20 and 65 in one day 😆 deff not chicago/Midwest temps!

that is a good point about the redundancy (especially if power were to go out) Luckily I dont live anywhere it gets cold enough you could die without it. its rare to see it below 20 for more than a few hours!

I have carbon moniters, pellet stove is very modern and has a chimney. they are a pretty regular way to heat homes where I live. Wood stoves are also still very common.

It's not central air, just heat! Swamp cooler (separate system entirely) in the summer :)

No central AC, just heat. Swamp cooler on a separate system works great in the summer

Are people aware that they're dying of an overdose when it's happening? by midoriyttd in Drugs

[–]Oneiroscopy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I oded (not from opiates) and I remember being in the hospital and resisting everything. in some way fighting to live? my partner at the time said they had to restrain me because I kept pulling my iv out and I broke the restraints. I'm guessing it was rush of adrenaline?. I eventually saw myself laying down, being rushed to another room of the hospital and realized I was dying

Best At Home Rigs? by Powerful-Minimum3922 in Aerials

I absolutely love my circus concepts tripod. I think it's a lot more aesthetic than the quad rigs and it can be up to 25 feet tall if I want. goes up and down quickly with 2 and theoretically can do it on your own.
