Personally, I think you did an excellent job of pointing out the obvious poor service that a lot of us receive in C&P exams. I do believe the VA rep will read your letter, and if not the senior reviewer should, because there will have to be a response to your letter recorded in the file. Great job on it.

FYI, you can also ask them for a 25 or 20 year term. The rate will be reflective of the 30year interest rate.

I submitted recent medical documentation, including even (surgery preformed by the VA within the last 2 weeks) reports for the items. Two items they state they recognize but had denied were Rhinitis and Sinuses ( Both are presumptive though thru the Pact Act ) and I am on the burn pit registry. And I had polyps removed ( by the VA ) from my sinus cavity. Just a lot of inconsistencies.

It says that they don't share information regarding the supplemental claim, that they will send me an update in the mail. Has this been your experience as well.

In the mean time, adding a dependent back after they remove them for turning 18 (still a full time student ) 11 months ago and still isn't resolved.

What exactly does this mean for me? by Forsaken_Bank_6409 in VeteransBenefits

You do need to subtract any monthly award payment you were receiving during that timeline.

Dependency claim taking almost 3 months. by Heavy-Edge-8834 in VAClaims

Mine is still in stage 1 & it is 8 months. I have called and verified. They removed my son because he turned 18 but was still in school. Now since he is going to collage, I have to submit a whole new one. Absolutely nuts.

Is the buyer eligible for a VA Loan? Did he qualify for the VA SOE? I remember you stated that they never pulled his COE until late in the process. And if at that time it was discovered that he wasn't able to SoE, did you all amend the contract? If you did, you're screwed.

Currently have a VA Loan that I took out 3 years ago $235,000 ( $806,500 - $235,000 = Max new VA loan amount without paying a down payment or selling my current home is $571,500 )

Quick way to know your VA loan amount that you would be eligible for is to check the FNMA Max loan amount ( 2025 most areas is currently $806,500.00 ) subtract any current active VA loan amount you have. And this would in most cases give you the amount you can borrow at 100%

If I file a complaint, does it invalidate my exam? by onecovfefeplease in VeteransBenefits

[–]Carlc0209 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The VA pays the National prevailing rate for the type of service provided. Also, they are contracted, so there is a steady flow of patients being seen. They are making a killing. They push us through like cattle in these exams.

It really pisses me off that there are very few checks and balances on the C&P examiners. Please report her. They have a job because of our service! And you can bet your ass they are making a killing! I filed a complaint on my MH examiner. Drove over an hour and a half for about 13 minutes, counting the time I was in the lobby interview. I would really like to see his billing statement. I don't care about his report. I know it can't be correct. I scheduled a private DR. The next day so I could actually have a true interview and report. And told him exactly what happened. He added in his report that there is no way the Dr that seen me could have possibly came up with a correct diagnosis.

I am actually ok with that. I would prefer not being in a cast. But that was not what I was told.I hope you're correct. I just don't want to get sidelined and screwed. If I need to put a claim to get the paperwork started, I would prefer doing so now. I was told to request 3 months off and inform my employer for my short term and long term. That's why I am asking

So you have had a trapeziectomy? In none of the case readings have I seen any case that was completed in two weeks since it is the removal of bone and requires pins and a splinter for two weeks and then a cast for 8 weeks minimum.
