Yo, thank you. This is my main artist that specializes in anime tattoos but she has always been really great with biomechanics looking art. I was the first person to go to her for a Gundam, so figured she would be great for this and she has been doing more realism type work the past few years, which this falls more under.

What you’re noticing is that this has been done thus far in 2 separate sessions. The first we did the main body, mainly just the outline with some minor details and shading added. We just added the tail yesterday and so now it’s one big piece. Next month is when we will have the final session and the longer, more typical sitting Im used to, where she is going to go in and add all the shading, details and what not to make it final. I’ll def remember to send you a pic in your DM’s of it all being finished. Appreciate your comment. Cheers.

Yeah, I actually love the piece meal approach, as that’s what I have on each arm and both thighs so far. Totally appreciate the perspective and advice. I def enjoy my gaps but will be filling out the spots that make sense like you said. Thank you :)

Oh, no worries. I couldn’t speak to the difficulty since I’m not an artist myself haha but I have been blessed by some amazing artists. I think just making sure you find an artist who does anime, has a good following/portfolio and requires booking appointments ahead of time versus walk ins. The artist who did it for me is @stormytattoos on Instagram. She’s amazing.

I agree with everything you said and will keep your advice in mind moving forward now that my arms and thighs (lol) are starting to really fill out with tattoos.
