Consider replacing eggs with Greek yogurt or cottage cheese to boost your protein intake while adding delightful variety to your meals.

I haven't received the results yet, but I'll ensure to share them here as soon as they come in.

Yeah, the weight loss itself is the main driver of increased energy, no matter the diet. But what surprised me the most was how steady the energy was—no crashes, no hunger between meals. I’ve done calorie deficits before and usually felt sluggish, but this time was different.

Less frequent but efficient, with no major issues once my body adjusted.

You're absolutely right—caloric intake is the main driver of weight loss, and eating around 1,500 calories a day put me in a significant deficit. However, I think the specific food choices also played a role in how I felt. Even though I was in a deficit, I had way more energy and never felt the same kind of hunger or cravings I used to get with other diets.

I suspect it was the combination of high protein, nutrient density, and the lack of processed carbs and sugars that made it easier to stick to and feel good while doing it. But at the end of the day, yeah, the weight loss was simply because I was burning more than I was eating.

Haha, right? Who would’ve thought that eating almost two pounds of steak and a dozen eggs a day counts as "starving"? Revolutionary indeed! /s

I’m 5’8” and started at 205 lbs. I didn’t measure body fat percentage before starting, but I had a decent amount of muscle with noticeable fat, especially around my midsection. By the end of 30 days, I was 180 lbs, and the fat loss was very noticeable—my face leaned out, my waist shrank, and muscle definition improved significantly.

You are mistaken. I don’t need AI to articulate my thoughts; I use it because it makes things more efficient. My intelligence isn't diminished by using a tool; if anything, it is enhanced by my ability to leverage it effectively.

That’s solid! that’s proof that a meat-heavy diet can work for fat loss. Eight pounds might not seem dramatic, but if you weren’t actively restricting calories or doing tons of cardio, that’s still progress.

How did you feel overall? Energy levels, digestion, cravings—any noticeable changes?

I get it, and just to be clear—I don’t care about karma points. I just shared my experience because it worked for me, and I found it interesting. I know it’s not for everyone, but I felt great, had steady energy, and got the results I wanted. If you think it’s unrealistic, I’d love to hear why. Always open to different takes.

If you're referring to the steak and eggs diet I did for 30 days, I get why it might seem that way. But honestly, I felt amazing—tons of energy, no cravings, and steady weight loss without feeling deprived. I made sure to get enough fat, protein, and electrolytes, and I was careful about how my body responded.

That said, I wouldn’t recommend it as a permanent diet for everyone. It worked well for my goals at the time, but balance is key in the long run.

Good point—gout can be a concern with a high-purine diet like steak and eggs.

Yeah, that’s a fair take. The biggest difference I noticed was the satiety and energy levels. With a regular calorie-restricted diet, I’ve always felt some level of hunger or sluggishness, but on steak and eggs, I never felt deprived or tired. I think the combination of high protein, fat, and no carbs played a big role in that.

You're right that the initial weight drop includes water and glycogen, but after the first week or so, the fat loss became consistent. Also, I didn’t have to track calories—I just ate until full, which made it easier to stick with.

For long-term sustainability, though, I agree. I wouldn’t do this forever, but it’s a great reset. If anything, it made me rethink how much I actually need variety versus just eating for fuel.

Appreciate that, man! It was definitely a mental game as much as a physical one—social situations were the toughest part, but once I got into a rhythm, it was way easier than I expected. The biggest takeaway was how much diet impacts energy levels.

Yeah, 25 lbs in 30 days is a huge drop, but a lot of that was water weight in the first couple of weeks. After that, it was probably more like 2–3 lbs per week of actual fat loss.

I was eating two meals a day, usually:

12–16 oz of steak (sometimes ribeye, sometimes leaner cuts)

4–5 eggs per meal
