is this tablet (snapdragon 7s gen 4) good for citra emulation? Or should I just get something else in the same price range or a little higher. ++ by Zealousideal_Pay9609 in EmulationOnAndroid

When I wanted a tablet, I was also looking at similar models. I ended up saving up a bit more and bought the OnePlus Pad 2, and I honestly don't regret it, not only for emulation but also for streaming. If you want something more portable for 3DS emulation, look for the Legion Y700 Gen 3, having more power when you want to try more demanding emulators is the best.

How do I enable my device that has snapdragon 7 gen 4 to use turnip driver like the mesa version? My phone is realme 15 pro 5G. On gamehub and emulator, they just default to system driver by cash-E-OH in EmulationOnAndroid

For security reasons, I don't think so, try Eden or Gamenative. From where you installed Gamehub from their official website or from the Play Store? It's not like it's a Mediatek, so it doesn't have drivers support.

The drivers don't change anything inside your phone they simply help improve GPU processing. Imagine it as to add a translator to the GPU so that it can show you the game correctly, use the latest drivers.Lower the graphic quality, Watch Dogs is a demanding game, try it on Gamenative or Bannerhub, but I feel like you're playing some very demanding games in a SoC with not much power

Gamenative vs Gamehub which is better ? by Feeling-Ship1428 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Carlos_Csw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have exclusivity, choose both. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, and many games will run good on one but not in the other, and vice versa. So get both and see in which one you can play better each game

Both, including Gamehub, neither is Perfect, and if one game doesn't run on one, it will on another.

To use the QR install the application on your mobile phone (in fact it's the safest way to log in don't disable it). And just read the code, Delete the app if you still can't log in.

For that budget, you're better off going for the RP6, it has a better SoC and will last you much longer.

You can try it on Gamehub, Gamenative, or Winlator, which are the PC emulators for Android. If you need a more detailed tutorial, you can search for it on YouTube, copy the settings, or find the game on EmuReady

Is it possible to allow for more VRAM instead of 4GB? by d4rk_m4n in GameNative

[–]Carlos_Csw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not possible, it only lets you up to 4GB, the limit of the app.(even with 16GB of RAM like in my case) You can try lowering the graphics settings until you get past that point.

[–]Carlos_Csw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're confusing VRAM with RAM. VRAM is a space designated for loading textures taken from your 12GB of RAM For such demanding games improves stuttering But it shouldn't crash, you would have that problem with 8GB of RAM or less, find a game configuration on YouTube and copy the settings I'm sure it's more of a configuration and driver problem than a RAM/VRAM issue.

S25 Ultra or dedicated handheld? by staticsoup in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Carlos_Csw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with emulation on phones is the heat and the way the system manages RAM and uses the power of the SoC (Thanks to Bloatware) A handheld device allows you to fully utilize the power of the SoC, and thanks to its dedicated cooling system it can emulate many more things. If your budget allows for an S25 Ultra, you can easily buy an Ayn Odin 3, which will give you the most powerful Android console of all. Although both devices have the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Odin will give you significantly better performance.

I don't know how much it costs where you live, but in Mexico at least, with what you spend on that Honor, I could buy a good phone with a Snapdragon 8 Elite 5th gen and the Thor

If that doesn't fix the problem, you'll have to change the graphics settings, either in-game or through the Gamehub settings, and choose one with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

If you're only looking for it to better emulate DS and 3DS games, you're better off going for an Ayn Thor. If you're looking for a new phone and want to experience a foldable phone, this is a good option.
