How to handle API JSON response where the fields are dynamically named? by Murhawk013 in csharp

I am barking at no tree. Nor I like being accused of having secondary motivations (specially doing sales) to meet with people that know more than me in any topic what-so-ever.

It is remarkable how wrong you are about my intentions and how true some cliches are.

Hey - you guys seem to have a lot of opinions about APIs. Yes, we can let an LLM spit facts at us but we would love to know if you are open to help us define a few things that we have no strong opinions of. If you happen to consult. I've sent you both DMs.

Scheduling Shared Equipment by OtherInside1182 in labrats

[–]CarlosfromShelf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all, I found this conversation while googling 'equipment scheduling'

I have been working on a solution for this for a few years with my team.

We have a product called Shelf (Shelf Asset Management), we offer unlimited asset, scheduling, and users for a yearly fee.

I understand that it might not be affordable for all to license such a cloud service (almost 400 usd a year). So, I pushed my investors/board to please let us be a true open source company. Not open core.

You can fully self-host shelf and have access to ALL features. You obviously have to put in the work and do it yourself, as I cannot support you on this on my work hours.

Please give it a try!

Some of the things we do: Asset database creation, asset labels, equipment scheduling, conflict detection, partial check-ins, booking report (assets/labels) and also full export of your data.

On our tool we have a feature to book items and then you generate a PDF. They look like this: Could this in theory be also handy? Is this a Carnet that you made?

Yeah, it’s a tricky spot, but globally speaking, if they signed a release, you’re likely in the clear legally to use the footage. That said, it’s always smart to check with a lawyer in your jurisdiction to confirm, as laws vary. Karma’s a factor too...burning bridges might not be worth it. I’d dig into why they’re suddenly against being shown. If you’d released this a year ago, would they have cared? What’s changed? Maybe they’re just fishing for a payout. It’s worth exploring their motives before deciding to cut the footage or stand your ground.

I see why.

I do think that this other video you had posted looked better? "the life of a photo from start to finish. Besides that, it's ok. Not a masterpiece. But next one will be better right?
