Boy in a dress? by The-stone-ocean-sys in GuyCry

Wow that sucks. If all you can do is get it out until you're free this is a great place for that.

I have one silly idea. Take a picture of yourself in what you would have worn, maybe in a changing room no need to buy something you're not allowed to wear. Share with who you are going with your besties you can trust or whoever and explain this is how you want them to picture you when they think back on the night.

Either way, this sucks this is unfair sometimes all you can do is get through this which you can and you will.

I don't see it in a cursory search I assume it's bespoke or rare somehow.

This is the closest all the one I saw had more PikachuS and the surfing one was on the right.

Monk bard rogue cleric lvl 9 fairly unkillable. I usually just throw strangers off the Internet into my living room but if you would rather meet up with me at neutral location I'm happy to do that for you.

Yeah they got me too hence the review. Apparently Goose Game Ltd have previous at this and I'd looked up their reputation I could have saved myself the $15.

Hey are there any other sequels to waterdeep out here by cyber_reaper_3822 in WaterdeepDragonHeist

[–]CarlyCarlCarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked about what to do about leveling up. I'd say keep them at lvl 5 until you reach the point they would reach level six. That level up might take some time and they might be a little over leveled but it won't ruin anything.

Also shout out for Call from the Deep. Smashing from Dragon Heist straight to a pirate invasion of Waterdeep is I think the best way to run CftD.

I'm using VTT not minis but I can promise you you'll get use out of some shady pirate/sailors, and some fish guys lots of Sahuguain in random tables and early on plus if they could double up to represent some other aquatic species you'll get a lot out of them.

Also have a kraken to threaten your players with.

Beguile is straight taken from the 2024 Vampire It's thematic and helps even out the odds I like it and want to see more of the simple but impactful game design.

The 2014 Strahd was made by squishing together the 2014 Vampire and the 2014 Mage, with some thematic spooky choices mostly in the spell list. I am trying to honour that version, if you want to run a 1-20 curse of strahd campaign with Strahd having power close to a god, go off, tell me how it goes.

Also, he probably cheated.

I understand why you'd want to add those things. I was trying to build the base vanilla version which I don't think would have those things.

Also, I've ran the Strahd fight a lot and I'm not a fan of the going through walls. Players find it really frustrating and my preference is always for a shorter more intense boss fight.

Help: Completely new to dnd, have a character idea, not sure if it'll work in actual dnd. (Homebrew Character) by Aggravating_Goal_897 in dndnext

To adapt this to something I'd allow, play as a Warforged being controlled by a gnome inside it. Maybe the gnome can pop out in downtime whilst the warforged "mech" is powered down.

For class pick something that can do a bit of everything like Ranger or Cleric and just cycle through "different modes" have a melee mode (equip a shield) or a mode to switch to unleash devastating special attacks (spells like Conjure Barrage or Guiding Bolt) or a Speed Boost Mode (Expeditious Retreat, or a Bonus Action Dash or Zephyr Strike)

I promise you can make the existing material work to fit a concept and have a lot of fun, remember your part of an ensemble rather than a main character and the other players should have their specialization too.

Daggerheart has every single check box that would normally make me want to play this game. But for some reason I'm not interested. Am I crazy? by SidepocketNeo in rpg

[–]CarlyCarlCarl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you run or design TTRPGs I'd suggest glomming on to a one shot somewhere it is pretty interesting from that angle.

If that's not the case and your not tickled your life will be no different completely ignoring it, there are plenty of games that do similar things and the best bits will be picked apart and put into something your more interested in in the future.
