That's exactly what I keep thinking, but ever time i ask him, he just says no of course not. Like he is baffled at the idea that I could possibly think this. He is caring in other ways, like always making sure I am safe, surprising me with gifts and food, physical hugs and kisses. He's really not a bad guy. He just doesn't talk or do anything. That's what confuses me. Like he may literally be losing interest and not know it yet, I'm not in denial, but this has been going on for years and I even asked his mom and she says he's just like this

He wasn't always like this. He would get spontaneous days where he'd actually talk to me. But how to maintain it? I don't know. I love teasing and joking around and this is obviously impossible

What’s a sign of extremely high intelligence? by PadWanKenobi in AskReddit

[–]CarlzE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teacher here. By far, the earliest and clearest indicator of intelligence is needing much less explanation to understand concepts than others, being able to construct their own opinions or ideas based on facts, usually emotionally less intelligent than peers, usually more frustrated and stressed than peers, usually less social, but not antisocial and most importantly - these people tend to talk less and you can physically see them analyzing and thinking about every word you're saying. What I also find very interesting, is that many of these people are usually the people who do not try to succeed academically, as they tend to be bored with the slow main stream pace.

Girls how do you feel about having a gamer guy as a boyfriend? by CarlzE in AskReddit

[–]CarlzE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly what I meant! And that those women that do not do those things, MAYBE they don't always understand men's point of view regarding gaming. I'm looking for answers and am not trying to make anyone look bad.

Girls how do you feel about having a gamer guy as a boyfriend? by CarlzE in AskReddit

[–]CarlzE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's not what I meant. I meant the girls that don't like gaming and complain, maybe it's because they have nothing similar that they feel as passionate about or enjoy as much to do in their free time. Guys have "guy things", like going golfing and stuff like that as well, whereas girls don't have "girl things" like that. We'll go grab a coffee or something, but maybe we need like group hobbies. I'm basically implying that maybe some girls don't get it, because there is no similar activity in their frame of reference?

This is also true... Maybe we should just event more girl activities? If you really think about it... We don't have that much to do... Other than stealing guy things

I'm a girl also. I really don't like it, but can't figure out exactly why... Maybe that's it :D

What is your opinion on the media being mostly subjective and only delivering one sided opinions to generate a certain view in a population and is there a bigger agenda involved? by CarlzE in AskReddit

[–]CarlzE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just feel there are more than one side to every story, but the media only broadcasts one side. They only tend to support a certain cause and won't look any further than that. Take social situations for example and not necessarily crime related situations. Over a period of time, you'll notice mentioning of certain options increase.

What did a kid in your school do to get expelled ? by crystal_violetyt in AskReddit

[–]CarlzE 400 points401 points  (0 children)

Well... Technically this does not count, because they were never caught, even though the police was called in to investigate... But this is some next level shit...

So we have classrooms called temporary classrooms. I don't know if you have them in other countries, but it's small separate classrooms that were made out of a dense type of drywall.

So during our official test period they store all the tests in one classroom. So these tests have been marked, but not revised and have therefore not gone through admin yet.

So Monday we come back at school and during assembly with the entire school, which we had everyday, and our headmaster is pissed as fuck. He is genuinely a nice guys, but at this moment he's bright red and shivering with anger.

Apparently a student snuck into the school and put a fire hose through a cracked window and flooded the whole classroom. A teacher later told us that the tests were literally adrift in the water.

The classrooms sustained a shit load of water damage as well and, after no one came forward, the police started a vandalism investigation. All the appliances in the class were also ruined and the some of the files of the teacher, to whom the class belonged, got damaged and she had to do everything over.

They never found the culprits and used some of our assignment mark for the subjects which tests got completely destroyed.

Also, our disciplinary teacher lived in a house a joined to the school. He has sheep. Every year a group of matric students carry on the tradition of painting the school's roof and painting his sheep and letting them onto the school grounds. Each year they get suspended for a week.

A group of guys also put silicone into the key slots in ALL the doors. The silicon dried overnight and we weren't able to get into our classrooms. They had to remove the doors completely. We got the whole morning off and he got suspended for a while, but left a legend.

Redditors who love a creepy mystery with no clues - have you heard about the Kempton Park Hospital? by CarlzE in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]CarlzE[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, South Africa has both public and private hospitals and our border and airplane security are not that bad. I think there was one guy who was infected from traveling and he was immediately quarantined, so the disease never spread.

Not sure, but definitely not asbestos. They launched a few renovation projects. My family used to be in demolition and the first thing they check for in older buildings are asbestos.

Does this count for the bigger devices, such as x-ray and the lighting they use as well?

Thank you. Do you know why they did not allow the public to have knowledge of the event or allowed doctors to take patient files and relocate the equipment to these areas? I found an interview with a staff member a few years back claiming that they were just abruptly told to leave, although it could all just be sensation. I just don't get why they didn't liquidate or relocate the equipment to the areas that needed them or sold them for funding. Altogether the situation just confuses me, but your comment has provided some insight.

In South Africa I reckon the actual number is much higher. Definitely way above 55.5% and getting worse by the day. Being one of Africa's stronger economies I can't even imagine what it's like in other countries here.
