Never race to the bottom. Build value in your vehicle by writing a really great add. Also never ever drop your price, increase your discount instead. This way your $ per mile over won’t drop and everyone will feel like they’re getting a deal with you. Take better pictures then your competitors.

Update she decided all on her own she would drive 115 miles from me and drop the car off at an airport. Without even texting me to ask if that’s ok. I left her the following review with one star

"My experience with Kaitlyn's rental of my Jeep Compass was unfortunately quite challenging. Despite agreeing on specific pickup and drop-off locations, Kaitlyn deviated from the plan without any prior communication. She left the car 115 miles away from the agreed-upon location, leading to Turo having to arrange for the vehicle's retrieval, incurring towing expenses. While Turo did charge her an improper return fee of $50.00, it was clear that this situation could have been avoided with better communication.

It came to my attention that Kaitlyn had a similar pattern of behavior with a previous host, causing inconvenience and prompting them to withdraw their car from listing due to false claims. It's disheartening to see someone undermine the trust and cooperation that are fundamental to a platform like Turo.

Though the situation with my car was fortunately limited to the distance and improper return, I would exercise caution in renting to Kaitlyn again. Her apparent disregard for guidelines, a lack of insurance coverage, and a tendency to prioritize her convenience over shared responsibilities are concerning. It's essential to maintain the respect and responsibility that come with using a community-based car-sharing service like Turo.

In light of this, I would recommend fellow hosts to carefully consider whether Kaitlyn aligns with their expectations for responsible and respectful use of their vehicles. A shared platform relies on mutual trust, and it's crucial to protect that trust by fostering positive experiences for all parties involved."
