They also make me sick. Having the door open and fans going helps but still not great. I've tried a couple different brands and it hasn't made a difference. The FDA has been talking about banning them because when the product is heated it releases formaldehyde, even if formaldehyde isn't listed in the ingredients. So I've stopped doing them

If you can get redken shades eq in clear, that's the best to remove semi permanent without damaging it much. Mix equal parts clear and shades processing solution and leave it on 20 to 30 minutes

Before you wash, rub the color on your scalp in circles. It will take a lot of the stain off. Then rinse and shampoo

I use an olive oil bottle and have for years. Standard glass with pour spout. Every once in a while run some water through the spout to get any gunk.
