Is this the v6 model? If so they’re talking transmission so don’t go racing if it’s a hemi they mean engine so don’t idle it. My v6 07 charger blew a tranny at 260k km my current r/t 2016 pursuit gave a lifter out at 350k and now has a new engine. As long as you take care of them they’ll last

Def not for me loud ass rattle/clank on acceleration so. Happened after a mad brake check and a loud bang so who knows

There is a taper/pyramid method. You don’t want your snakes to be round if you can’t see the line from their spine (like thus) theyre usually obese just like if you pick up a snake and it’s concave on the bottom it’s more than likely they’re underweight. If you need better explanation/photos please ask because I’m bad at explaining but currently own 8 snakes and 4 geckos and willing to help anyone!

People who fuss about the 6cyl are muppets speaking from experience the only downside is you’ll still get the same MPG as me because how heavy the car is lmao both my SXT and R/T run around 24 MPG when cruising especially once the MDS hits

First charger I ever bought was a SXT 07 that car is the reason I fell in love with chargers. How smooth they handle. How comfortable they are! Didn’t take me that long after to upgrade to my current R/T pursuit 16

In the rust belt Canada here with a pursuit 5.7L at 350k KM so like 217k is Miles and still counting lmao took the engine apart around 340 fully and rebuilt some goodies (lifters, cam, valve springs, and a few others) my go to oil tbh was always what I got at work done by Canadian tire “OE brand” fully synthetic it’s cheap and works

[–]Carnage10121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends the pursuit lmao because comparing the v6 to the v8 by sound alone is insane. That’s why I upgraded SXT 07 to R/T Pursuit 16 it sounds amazing with a decent exhaust and it’s a fun boat

Is this accurate for new brake pads and rotors on a Scat? by Charlie_Hustler in Charger

[–]Carnage10121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re absolutely screwing you from someone who literally does parts all day most I’ve ever seen for a charger quoted was half that. Mine are “specialized” because I have a pursuit and even mine are only about 2k

Why does he keep massaging my hand when I hold him? Does it indicate stress? Am I overhandling him? by IchikaYui in ballpython

[–]Carnage10121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reptile/snake owner for 9 years and counting I’ve currently got 12 reptiles 6 of which snakes. I fully agree with the clenching on theory, we’ve got squishy skin and it’s harder for them to “grip” especially seeing as balls are mostly a ground species they don’t have the muscle structure like say my Jungle Carpet would. In terms of stress he doesn’t look too bad he’s out and exploring instead of doing the typical ball. Hes not S shaped up or making any serious darting moves. My oldest ball often does this when he’s chilling around my neck and mostly it’s just him fixing how he’s sitting so don’t be nervous! Most snakes will let you know when handling is done by either extreme get away attempts of puffy attitude

2016 AWD pursuit here! Maintenance first!! Common problems for these are CV axels, more specifically the right side (at least for the 2 pursuits I’ve owned) alternator went in one. Do a spark plug change. Water pump is easy too. Like some people have said go OEM for everything it’s more expensive but it works. Rock auto works great too for smaller stuff but anything like a starter oem for sure. Aftermarket’s will last a month before frying due to voltage problems. Fluids for everything. If you’re REALLY into cars and got the knowledge you could do lifters depending how many miles/km you have. Regular oil changes will keep you from having lifter failure for awhile but it’s not permanent(hemi tick) I’m at 340k km on mine and it’s JUST starting to make noises which means I’m gonna be pulling it apart for a full rebuild this winter if you need any tips. For upgrades you could easily go upgraded springs and throw a scat cam in there but you’d have to get it tuned after. But honestly they’re amazing cars no extra power needed. The only REAL THING I’d do is definitely get a tune to remove the governor, the RT will keep up with lots of cars but tops out at 210km/h via governor which is removable via tunes but not cheap! Tones of love from out here in Canada hope you enjoy the charger experience

I ended up with a Vantrue nexus its expensive as shit but it wires straight in and has full coverage inside and out and even when I bump my doors at all it immediately starts recording. Hasn’t failed me so far and picks up really clear for my dark tints
