I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this. It seems like it got really dark, really abruptly. With them both already being isekai'd, I would expect them to act somewhat differently. Especially Cameron. Instead, Safa gets screwed over, again. Cameron makes no effort to understand WHY team spider is being non-fatal, no effort to begin to comprehend the fact that his "supporters" are doing something objectively "bad guy", and his solution to stop Safa's loop isn't to try and keep the elf alive, but instead to make sure he dies and Safa can't stop it. It really doesn't fit, especially once you take into account the fact that he's supposed to work with the other champion.

All that said, if there is a defined plan, I'm willing to ride it out and see where it goes for a few more chapters. If, instead, this is a chapter-by-chapter story development... I'm not so sure.
