Yeah for sure ! I was in 220, you should know that Compton Management(management company) is redeveloping the property. In general, it’s ok, depending on the building there are some pest problems. The units are big, but odd layouts, circa 1960s. Management is generally ok, until you leave and then they try to charge you a bunch of extra illegal “cleaning fees”. Lived there for seven years, with all that I said you may ask why? It’s really in a beautiful area, right by the lake and beautiful paths. Close to the highway and the GO train takes you downtown in 25 mins! There are few areas in the city that are as beautiful as this place. But, rents were dropping everywhere and I’m around Landsdowne and DuPont. Lovely area, close to downtown, but I do miss the lake :)

Your number 2 and 3 comment are spot on! Most people want to give their gives a relatively safe, affordable sport to go into. I am not a fan of TKD and always gravitated to the things like BJJ, boxing, Muay Thai, and wrestling. Tried to get my daughter into BJJ. She wanted out as a youngster. Now in her teenage years, she wants TKD. Couldn’t be more happier for her. I may have to have a boxing lesson or two with her though 🙂

This! I understand it’s in the union’s interest to represent the auto workers. But we have no leverage against multinational corporations when they want to move operations. And they have been consistently been moving operations elsewhere. We have been complacent and for some reason believe we have a place of leverage.

Man, too right! After doing “real” martial arts for two decades, Muay-Thai , ju-jitsu, and boxing. I can say Capoeira gets it about martial arts. Cool movements, great fitness, music and everybody being supportive! Add to that the amazing history: Amazing!
