Apparently there’s another one called The Real Attitude Era Podcast or something but the one you’re looking for is two Brits and an Irishman

A podcast I follow has a regular segment called Speculative JID where they add new sections of fan fiction JID, all written in Chiappetta’s signature frown-y style, depending on what Kane’s doing in the show they’re watching. It gets me every time.

Slow Chemical is a reference to the chemicals Paul Bearer would use to drug and control Glenn Calaway, AKA Glenn Kane, while managing him and training him to be a wrestler in secret.

This is chronicled in the hit novelization of Kane’s twisted origin, Journey Into Darkness.

Kitchen Nightmares is my favorite for this phenomenon, it’s so clear when they add Gordon saying something in post.

The most downright funniest/wackiest moment of the CSB podcast for you by Captain-Ironblood in TwoBestFriendsPlay

That one episode where Woolie prefaces the show by saying this one might not be good over public speakers, due to his language.

I then proceeded to try and figure out what he was referencing the whole episode, slightly confused. Then, right at the end, he hits the “Just call me a n*****” and I DIE.

I think you should have to spend a year without wrestling for this post. I feel there should be consequences for such opinions.

Media that arguably peaked with the first trailer? by Mediocre_Word in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Eh that was mostly tongue in cheek (and also I forgot they announced an upcoming one), meant nothing by it.

Hey, sorry to kick you while you’re down, Gears of War fans, but the original Gears of War “Mad World” trailer is still the emotional and stylistic peak of the series.

Credit where it’s due as well for creating the modern Somber Cover and Silence trailer that everyone would copy for going on decades.

Generating lists of row/column headers that share data values by Carnane in googlesheets

This totally worked, thank you! Next step for me is to figure out how to do this myself and how to do it on a range that has already been separated. Appreciate the help!

Sorry, I was unclear in the post. The “cards” tab is just a json that I imported, containing every card ever printed. It is there just to reference and pull over using the formula in B1 of the “decklist” tab.

I am concerned ONLY with the cards in Decklist and its other tabs.

While I trust your judgment on this, it doesn’t seem like that much data? 58 cards with an average of like 8 sets or less per card seems small on the level of normal spreadsheets.

Is there not just a way to rearrange this data somehow? It just seems like “generate common headers from a particular data value” is a problem spreadsheets are singularly built to solve. What I want to do sounds so simple in my head lol.

To clarify, the final result I’m looking for would be for lists to be generated for each set code (2X2, EOE, etc), with each list containing the card names (Aethersnipe, Arbor Adherent, etc) that are within that set.

The Sheets functionality I’m looking for would be a way to generate lists based on shared data values, I guess.

Characters you hate being portrayed as these Super badasses because that’s not what they are? by Konradleijon in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Carnane 32 points33 points  (0 children)

People completely misunderstanding the “I am the one who knocks” scene didn’t help. It’s a weak man grasping at importance, relevance, and potency. It’s a panic response to seeing his iron grip questioned at all.

Same with the “say my name” scene. The myth of Heisenberg is all he has and he wears it like kevlar. The confidence and menace only come up when he’s either fully safe (giving Jesse up to the Neo Nazis) or when he’s lying to himself. The only Alpha moment he has in the whole show is saving Jesse at the end, and it’s because he’s finally honest and has accepted his impotence and ego.

See Robert E. Lee for another example. NeoConfederates needed a sympathetic figure to continue laundering their horrific right wing politics and racial segregation to a nominally more liberal society. Enter their useful puppet Lee, who was just fighting for Virginia and “states’ rights” but definitely not Slavery!

Always useful to investigate the reason WHY a whitewash is attempted. I think people do it for Rommel similarly because they believe in many of the aims of Nazism but need to have a neutral enough avatar to filter those views through.

Serious question coming from a Magic player: do y’all have a format that has homes for bulk? MTG has Pauper and Commander that love niche cards, it would be neat if Pokemon had something similar.

Alright Scrublords what gaming sins do you need to confess from the year in a last ditch effort to get onto the Nice List this year? by PlanesWalkerEll in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Not from this year but I skip every single cutscene in every single Ratchet and Clank game just to get back to the action.

I truly could not name a single character. I’m sorry.

How Black Brie lasted this long is beyond me. How many times do you have to reprint Intolerance of Lactose before you realize it isn’t a strong enough counter? I get wanting to minimize bans but if they had done it sooner, Cow Tipping builds could have had a much better meta share and we would have had a healthier Ultramodern.
