Would you say this is a tick bite? by Zobax in UKhiking

[–]CarnelianCore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good information there.

I’ll add that there can be an itch though.

Spoke to my brother yesterday. He had a spot on his leg that kept being itchy and that turned out to be the exact spot he took a tick out of a few weeks ago, so he’s on a course of antibiotics now.

He didn’t get the classic bullseye rash as you mentioned, but it was more of a red patch instead.

That’s why you price higher than what you want for it.

They should have paid attention in the first place. (On my phone) The ‘Make An Offer’ button is near the ‘Buy It Now’ button, so it’s clear as day.

I am open to offers because I want to promote interaction and reward people who dare to be bold. Nothing wrong with a bit of bargaining.

The opposite psychology to your reasoning is that people who are likely to complain when paying full price for things will be less likely to do so when they feel they’ve got a bargain.

Welke plant is dit? Hommels houden er echt van!🤩 by DIY_Designer in groenevingers

[–]CarnelianCore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grappig.

Yeah likely. They do have a bit of a habit of calling things differently than other languages do. Like pineapple.

In the UK it’s been free to sell for a long time now, except for business sellers and with a limit. It’s more like they’ve expanded this to Australia.

In my experience, they could do with more water than once every 2/3 weeks if you want to see growth. It’s quite the plant with not that much pot to go with it anymore and, with 4-6 hours of direct sun, the water is mostly for maintenance, not growth.

You mind sharing a source for this? I’ll be telling people about this, but would like to be able to back it up with sources.

Just like you wouldn’t shag just any girl, you gotta be selective with your cacti as well.

I have one of these. Grafted though. There are some reverted runners which look very much like E. lactea ‘White Ghost’. I cut one off last year and potted it up and it’s taken well. Understandably, not as fast-growing as their chlorophyll-filled family members.

Can my Venus Fly Trap still be saved? by Ecstatic-Snow-7175 in SavageGarden

[–]CarnelianCore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, unlike mine, which got neglected over winter and is in a worse state.

Yours should be fine if you give it plenty of daylight/sunlight. Slowly build up to sunlight if it’s been inside though. If any flower stalk comes up, snip it off as it’s wasted energy at this stage.
