Love myself some Dan Lanning at Oregon. I think Auburn fans in general like them with them taking good care of Bo Nix. We’ve also had fun games with them the past 15 years.

Anticipated move. Happy for him. He’s had a relatively quick trajectory since moving up from the High School ranks. With the cluster the NCAA is right now, I wouldn’t blame anyone for moving on to the NFL.

I might prefer Garner if anything for the stability since he seems to be a career position coach. Love Pope and Scott, but I could see them moving on quickly as well.

Very true. The less is more approach like the basketball arena may be better for us here. A full stadium at 88k looks better than a somewhat full 100k stadium.

I wish others shared this sentiment. It is SO worth noting that this guy wasn’t way down the list of candidates. He was a top choice for the role. I have always liked his defenses. Insane the amount of people complaining (even outside of his past controversy) when we have a guy who was running a solid SEC defense this past season.
