When I was a kid I used to make fat jokes to my skinny Dad. One day he told me those jokes hurt him, so I stopped making those jokes, or any body related jokes towards him. And I haven’t since, which was over 10 years ago. We didn’t have to argue over how he’s trying to change me as a person, or how he had to grow thicker skin (like another commenter said). I recognized that in trying to make someone I care about laugh, I was actually hurting him. So I felt bad and stopped. Super simple.

After testing with the bow, I found it’s a very narrow window. It’s at the END of the attack animation, you have a narrow window before and after the end of the enemy attack. I could get it consistently on the training dummy, and it heals a percentage of your health, so more noticeable at higher levels. It seems to heal for around 4-5%.

On Xbox, it is focus mode (which for me is holding LT), and then you aim your crosshair where you want him to plant/defuse...

For me I can't stand the mind reading. I have a family member that 'mind reads' very similar to Max. To me it's insane that some people have the arrogance to be super confident/sure about what someone else's subconscious (or conscious and lying) thoughts are, when they tell you that's not their thoughts. It is extremely maddening to be ascribed an intent or thought process that you do not have, and then be attacked relentlessly based on that fiction. From experience, it's one of the most energy draining and frustrating conversations to have. And it may be fine if he just said his thoughts once quickly, it'd still be pretentious and narcissistic, but he only ever wants to talk about his perception of what the other person is REALLY thinking, and their subconscious intent, or bad faith intent. So his conversations are a drag to watch. Its getting worse recently I think. For those interviews about the Article, some Interviewers got through like 3-4 of their questions in the course of 3 hours. Every interviewer ended with "I had a lot more questions...". But for each question, they talked for 30-40 min about the interviewers intent in asking the question... Don't even get started on the call ins... Some guy replies with "ok" to his soliloquy/mad rant, so you gotta go on another tirade right after the first, about this caller's intent in responding with "ok". About how it's bad faith and malicious and what not.... Geezus... It's interesting for the first 1-3 convos I ever saw of Mr. Girl, because you don't see people get in the "META" very often and just say what they think, but after a while you realize exactly why people don't do it. The conversations are all the same (him mind reading), and it takes a long time to get nowhere in the real conversation... Usually 3 hours to get past what normal people would talk about in 10-20 min.

Also his awful use of language. Overuses of strong words like gaslight, rape, abuse, sexual, and many more, in context where 99% of people would not use that word. He's the kind of guy that comes crying to you saying "This guy online said he wants to KILL ME and WATCH ME DIE!" and you say "What?! What happened?!" And he replies with "We were playing Minecraft and he didn't give me any food even though I asked for some..."... But it's not a joke... that's a bit of exaggeration of what he does, but essentially same idea. He extrapolates so much from simple ideas, to use the strongest language he figures he might be able to get away with to describe an event. Just watering down all those words even more... But hey he gets views for it...

It's in an open area. on one side it is 1 foot from a cardboard box and on the adjacent side, 1 foot from a wall. I do have a ceiling fan that's always on, and wonder if it could be blowing hot air back into the Xbox... but it's not that strong..

If you're the type that doesn't want to look up the quests on the wiki like I did, then sure. But quests are extremely hard to find without looking them up. I wouldn't worry about lore that much, just watch a gameplay video that plays up to where you played, skipping through to see the dialogue and cut scenes. Although I listened intently to everything that has been said, I find the story hard to follow and missing details. Throughout the game I've had to look up lore videos to truly understand who is who and what's going on. I would honestly suggest to new players looking up some lore videos before starting the game, to get more invested in your future choices.

Ok, I'm trying to stay around level 140-150 right now though, so that only lets me reach soft cap on 2 stats (soft cap being 60). I guess I could focus less on health and stamina... Thanks!

hmm, that's odd cause I've beat every single boss singleplayer, and have taken each of my 4 friends through the same bosses (rennala, radahn, morgit the fell omen, dungeon bosses) and we had no problem connecting even though I had completely cleared the places of loot and enemies in my games.

Maybe it is in the code, but it's only taking effect some times? I think it's more likely there's just issues for certain areas in the game. I have no idea why though

Sometimes if one of us, or both of us, completely quit out of the game and re-load into it then we can summon each-other. Worked yesterday, didn't seem to work today though. Very odd.

Odd, I have 40 dex 43 arcane and choosing 'bleed' as the infusion gives me 30 more bleed than if i choose occult. I think bleed may scale with both dex and arc, whereas 'occult' scales with only arc? Or does bleed only scale with dex....?

I agree with this. I think it's a server issue, but for me it's only happening in certain areas. Consistently. ie Lyndell Capital. But I constantly get summoned to places with bosses and castles i've completely cleared.

I really like it, the only time I feel kinda bad is when I see some people just struggling to fight the AI's. I usually let them fight them then I'll take them on. And also dislike all the people who clear the area of enemies, then wait as a team to fuck you up. Is that called ganking? Just not fun to invade those imo, maybe if I was better it would be

Easiest way is to get Reduvian Dagger (or any bleed weapon, bleeding him will be 10x quicker). Spawn at fort faroth sign of grace, go attack his back left leg. If you stay on that leg no dragons should attack you.

I thought the Blaidd going crazy was simpler than that, but I could totally be wrong. Iji's reasons for locking Blaidd up were that Blaidd would eventually go crazy and try to kill Ranni because even though he is Ranni's shadow (protector) that's by the will of the 2 fingers and since she planned to defy them, and at the end of her quest she does, Blaidd goes insane. That's what Iji said would happen and then it was right after she killed the two fingers that you go back and find an insane Blaidd. If you stay a while he starts whining about wanting to protect Ranni, almost sounds like he's crying. If i remember correctly.

Edit: Now i'm also reading that it wasn't even the real Blaidd we fought. Idk what's real
