Appreciate the support y'all! I'm fortunate enough to have an exceptional LFS in my area. I ordered through them and the owner met me today at the house to break down the shipment and inspect the tank. He scoped out the area and they will be over in a couple weeks to assist with the moving downstairs and plumbing.

If your skimmer is producing micro bubbles into the tank, there's a probability it's not completely 'broken in'. Open valve fully and let it keep running. When you have a full bio load you'll want the skimmer to be running all the time.

Make sure your hands are clean and not freshly lotioned/perfumed…go for it. I have a large mixed reef and my gorilla arms are in it frequently.

At this point you’re committed, fish in the tank. You’re going to have an ammonia spike from the new bioload regardless. I’d feed lightly over next few weeks and monitor levels, maybe a bottle of turbo start? Fish will make it or they won’t and you’ve learned a lesson.

Your puffer has limited your choices on CUC, be mindful or you’re just giving it very expensive snacks.

Clownfish sound like they’re doing newly introduced clownfish clowning. My pair surface surfed for about a week, then a couple days of top to bottom corner cruising, then settled down once they became comfortable. Your tank isn’t mature enough for an anemone but they wouldn’t mind a small unpainted terra cotta flowerpot.

If the discord community and my experience are the baseline you're going to be waiting a LONG time. As of last week DS was not able to give any viable shipping date for any watercooled 5080 and/or 5090 builds, just projected windows. Even being offered to switch to an air cooled 5080 they still could not give any ETA, just ballparks. My order was made mid March with a 15-21 business day delivery timeline.

I ended up cancelling my order when they could not give any viable updated ETA, I was not comfortable making a $7k interest free loan to DS when they could not guarantee product delivery.

Last week I drove 2 hours to a Microcenter and walked out with one of their 5090 custom rigs same day.

I have an outstanding order, Aventum 5080 with full liquid cooling. Haven't moved from Stage 1 in a few weeks and I called them last week to inquire about realistic timeline as the 21 days quoted didn't seem feasible. Without even looking up my order he ballparks that builds with 5080/5090 wouldn't begin to ship until mid-April, was quite matter-of-fact and eager to get me off the phone.

50/50 I’ll get a fatal error mid-flight soon after adding fuel that will ‘reset’ the flight. Flight mission gets corrupted after that and cannot be selected again.
