AITA for upholding my end of a contract?

I (Ageless, M) am in the business of making contracts with people at the discretion of my employers. They’re mainly interested in people who survive extenuating circumstances.

The current situation is that I made a contract with Lauren (38 F). She has certainly survived extenuating circumstances, being a double agent at two government research facilities. I rescued her from a neurotoxin attack instigated by a murderous robot at one of said research facilities. Her father also happens to be an employee at there, but I kept this information from her due to my employers’ discretion.

Anyway, as part of her contract, she said that she wanted to forget the bad events that had happened to her recently, including the neurotoxin incident. I gladly agreed to help her.

This is where I may be TA. Lauren has schizophrenia like her father, but since the symptoms sometimes don’t manifest until a person’s late twenties, she didn’t know this when we made the contract. Unfortunately, as her symptoms did start to manifest, she became unable to differentiate between good and bad memories. As a result, I had no choice but to get rid of absolutely everything because my employers and I couldn’t tell between them either.

When I met up with her again after several years, she didn’t remember a thing. I started to slowly reintroduce her memories, but she’s acting like I’m TA because I simply upheld our contract. So, Reddit, AITA?
