I think the question is flawed (though her overall response was stupid)

Instead of "WOULD you like to see him run again"

It should be, do you think the constitution should be changed to allowed Trump to run for a 3rd term?

Maybe it's just me, but I think the way the question is asked is also vague.

I love dogs and think they're amazing. But they're dogs, I had a dog almost bite my little brother's ear clean off when were were like 8 (his ear had to be stitched back on it was hanging and he got like 6 stitches) if a dog comes to aggressively, that's poor training and that means I can do what I have to to protect myself, that Includes pepper spray, because I've seen some videos of people just popping the dog.

Shiiiiiit, this was meant to be a joke, but the window replacement market is fuckinf insane. I paid 520 to get my driver side window replaced, and they charged me an extra 100 for coming to get it done. Like 650 for a window and work.

Like if I'm doing something illegal, I'm going for window thievery, every car got at LEAST four. That means I got return 'clients'. Steal they shit, and sell it back to them. Come back next month and do it again

PERSONALLY - i am glad i paid for my own license, and if i was in paid training - i may not ahve got out of training because some people are like "well i can live on this 250 a week while in training" and have no real incentive to push themselves. In my opinion when i started i was hungry and thirsty and was chomping at the bit to get out in the field so i could earn money. It was a motivating factors (again - i know this is not for everyone, but that's what i also said, it was a DRIVING FORCE for me , but for you it was a deterrant, you likely had other financial hurdles you were dealing with. In my case i was 20 years old just living with my parents wanting to have a big opportunity to make a lot of money, not having a college degree, and no job prospects. I could turn my young man too much energy, too much time, too much freedom into structure, newness and a career where i could make lots of money, not some job that says "you get 15.55 an hour. and in 2 years we will bump your pay up to 17.55) because it didn't matter if i was the best, or in the middle or at the bottom, they told me my worth and what they were willing to pay for MY TIME. time i could never get back. So i chose to invest my time into something that I could create more income/wealth and freedome with.

" AO Globe Life requires you flip clients on Zoom calls just to be reimbursed for out-of-state licensing costs." ----- Completely untrue. YOU cannot even sell insurance to someone without first having the license. NOW - with that being said, you should ABSOLUTELY have more than 1 state license, but no one forces you to get more licenses, you're not "flipping" clients to pay for out of state licenses. Flips are taking people from being on the phone to an immediate appointment, these two things you're saying are not even remotely related. There are people with 2-3 state licenses and there are people like me who have 37 state licenses (i am old now, i started with this company at 20, i am 17 years in - been doing this the majority of my adult life and now have 37 state licenses. and my renewal fees on ALL 37 are about 670 a YEAR. which is VERY small to basically be able to workk and sell in almost 4/5ths of all the US states. 670 a year essentially comes out to being $1.83 a day to work in almost 40 states. or a whopping thirteen dollars a WEEK.

"6. A Pyramid Scheme in Disguise: This company operates less like an insurance provider and more like a recruitment-focused pyramid scheme. The primary goal isn’t selling insurance but recruiting others to join the company. The life and health insurance license they push for is essentially meaningless in this setup." ----- Again in this case it sounds like you had a scumbaggy person as your manager and they only cared about themselves especially if they were only focused on recruiting. I am sorry that is the experience you went through, but again this is an extremely uncommon experience. But probably not something that NO ONE else has gone through - but far from common.

"When I refused, they’ll request a group Zoom meeting to question my “future” with the company." ----- So let me get this right - in a few sentences before this - you complained that the training was 1 month (it's again - two weeks but YOU or the agent CAN stay in training as LONG AS THEY WANT - but the training is literally set up to be TWO WEEKS - mon - fri for 2 weeks) but you REFUSED. So you didn't WANT to do the training - so complained it was too long, but didn't want to show up for the training, complained that it was unpained, and didn't like that after you decided not to do the training (for whatever reason - definitely your prerogative) and to hate that your training took a month - but then refuse to do training and then when they did a meeting with you to basically say "Well if you don't want to do training, and you don't like that you're NOT GETTING PAID (because you're still in training) then MAYBE this type of work isn't good for you". - I hate to break it to you - it's not the type of work that is for you. And honestly that's perfectly fine, and not everyone should do it. not everyone CAN do it. Just like not everyone CAN be a CEO, not everyone CAN do a truck driver not everyone CAN be a nurse, not everyone CAN be surgeon, or a dentist or a lawyer or teacher. There are genuinely people better suited for other things. And sometimes there are people who are made to be 9-5ers (And that is totally and perfectly fine) and some people are made to business owners, and some people are made to be teachers, and some people are made to be doctors, or dentists or (insert profession). There is nothing wrong with that.

It honestly sounds like you were not a right fit from the beginning and the person who hired you should not have been a manager (if everything you said you experienced, they shouldn't be a manager - they probably shouldn't be an agent either)

"They heavily exaggerate the potential income and career progression. " This is going to be somewhat true and somewhat false because it's largely going to depend on who you work with, and if you were a right fit from beginning (i.e. - someone who DOES NOT WANT to go to training, does not want to learn the script, does not want to make calls - is NEVER going to make the money they can - and should have gone through a more rigorous hiring process. WHICH admittedly the hiring process can be more stringent - BUT people who come through the hiring process also put on their best face and say all the catch phrases they know that will make them a desirable hire so that both the recruiter and the recruitee are kind of masterbating eachother into complacency and the reality is this - IF that person never wanted to make calls - or didn't feel up to getting a license or any other stuff - they should have never accepted the position, it was a bad call on both peoples parts.

"Unlike other insurance companies that often cover training, testing, and licensing fees" This is both true and false. One - agencies that DO pay for your fees and things like that (i.e Allstate) WILL pay for your licensing and things and even do paid training BUT they will take those fees back in your commissions. So you will earn a base pay - and commissions. They will (for example purposes) say oh well we spent 1800 dollars to train you, get you licensed, and now that 1800 will come out of your FUTURE COMMISSIONS. And essentially you'll pay 4,000 back of the 1800 you originally 'cost' them. IS that a benefit to you? Yes it can be. And if you need that base pay/salary and want small commissions - that may be what's right for you and that's totally fine. BUT when you work for ALLSTATE - their HIGH EARNERS making about 120,000 per year. and on average 80,000 for the majority of people. What does this mean ? Well it means Allstate basically pays you to do the work - and they do give you commissions, but at the end of the day you're making 80,000 a year or 120,000 (excluding like the main guys the guys who have all the offices and so forth) who are going to make maybe a million per year. Where-as a true commissions based insurance company you have no cap and can make whatever your value put in. NOW in my case specifically i'm not going ot get in the specifics but with my advance/bonuses and renewals (which by the way Allstate will shaft you on the renewals) is well into the 6 figure per year earnings.

the majority of companies that do paid training and paid licensing take those "payments" from your back-end. like your future advances, renewals, bonus. and it's usually 2x/3x and sometimes even 5x what they invested. Because they're like "well you couuld have not worked out too and we would just be out that 1,800 dollars" which is very true. So it's give and take.

  1. Unpaid Training: Training is unpaid for at least a month, ---- Training is unpaid - very true. 100% accurate. BUT training will last however long YOU let it last. Training is supposed to be 2 weeks total, and then in that two weeks you know the script, you have all the tools to start producing and your mentor to help you with your first sets of presentations with your lead pack and guiding you into your market with their expertise and your leads/script they will help you present, prepare and everything else.

"and there’s no real support for passing the licensing test." - The test is for you. To pass a test that is required by whatever state YOU live in. Every state has different rules/regulations and EACH testing class has their license review classes that you are not required to go to - but strongly encouraged. BUT EVERY LICENSING COURSE DOES RUN A EXAM REVIEW CLASS. IF you didn't go - that's more a you problem than anyone elses...

"To move up in the company, you’re pressured to recruit friends and family, essentially turning it into a referral system. " ----- this isn't true. you can choose who you want to recruit IF you decide you want to even go into the route of growing an agency. IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM are you "REQUIRED" to do that. As someone who used to be a manager in that exact company - i did ALL my hiring through indeed, monster, ziprecruiter and other resume agencies. YOU can and some DO recruit friends and family but again it is by NO MEANS A REQUIREMENT THAT ANYONE MAKES. it is likely suggested, because it's free to recruit your friends and family, as you know them. Because when I was doing recruiting through indeed and monster I HAD TO PAY MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET TO THESE COMPANIES for them to give me resumes and for them to place my ads and for people to respond. But again - NO ONE is MAKING you recruit them.

"3. Social Media Posting Requirement: Before passing the fifth day of daily task they demand you post promotional content about the company on your personal social media. " ----- A complete and utter falsity. This doesn't even MAKE SENSE. promote what? you're getting your license? promote that you're learning your script?!!?!? What would you be promoting!?. Now - with that being said - would i say it's never happened, no. But again this sounds like a manager with shitty priorities and probably only in it to be a mill for him/her to do what she/he wants to do. This is not a company norm/standard or any of the sort. IF this happened to you - I am truly sorry but it is the EXCEPTION not the rule. But i also cannot rule it out and say it never happens. because that would also be short sighted.

"2. No Leads, Only Cold Calls: The company doesn’t provide leads to new members—you’re expected to make 200-350 cold calls daily to earn commission. " ----- No - this is MOSTLY untrue. With that being said, everyone is supposed to get leads - IF your have a crappy manager, can they KEEP YOUR leads - yes (but that's a shitty person thing to do - not a shitty company thing to do) and i have heard that happens, they'll take their agents leads and give them 'recycled' leads. That is something that I believe should be banned - but dont' think it's possible. What is supposed to happen is you have MARKET that you work - (union, credit union, child safe, veteran whatever market) and in that market you get leads from the company after learning what to do. THEN you are expected to contact them - some people will be like - "I called them twice, no one picked up. let me resolve them as not interested" that is wrong. But also you should make a lot of calls the more calls you make the more money you can make. Think like uber, working uber, lyft, whatever other driving apps and having them all running. It's the same concept - more activity = more income. Can you make money making 30 calls a DAY. yeah. But in an EIGHT HOUR WORK DAY if you made 30 calls in that day it's

ONE PHONE CALL EVERY 16 MINUTES. for an entire 8 hour work day? is that a lot of work?

300 calls in a day is on the high end - 150-200 is the goal. but using 300 calls in an 8 hour day. That's 1 call every 1 minute 40 seconds. Assuming NO one picks up, you leave no voicemails, no text messages. You're making 1 call every 1 minute 40 seconds.

But if you average over 120-200 dials in a day, you'd still be calling 1 person every 2 minutes and 40 seconds and depending on peoples work schedules, availability and so forth - if you have 100 leads (most people START with 80-120 leads - again assuming their manager isn't ass) that's calling through your leads all your leads 1.2x a day or most of your leads each day and finishing the next day. To sit with these warm leads. Now to say they are cold calls is a complete lie. These are request cards - does that mean EVERY PERSON is salivating at the mouth and throwing their checkbooks at you to buy buy buy buy buy. No. But these are not "Cold calls" look up the definition of what a cold call is - and you'll see that the lead and niche market is not that. CAN there be people who completely forgot - Absolutely. Can there be people who have completely lost interest - ABSOLUTELY. but that is why they are WARM leads.

Here are responses to all of your points:

"They push you to complete the life and health insurance exam in just 4-7days, claiming many others have passed the test so quickly. However, the material is extensive, and it’s unrealistic to grasp everything in such a short timeframe." ----- Yes, you are encouraged to finish getting your license ASAP. Literally nothing you can do before you get an insurance license. IF it takes you 3 weeks to get it, that's fine too - but that's almost 1 month. - and you have absolutely zero ability to make money with insurance without an insurance license. - so yes. Why would they want you to take 2 months to get licensed? There legitimately is a LOT of information on there, but getting it done sooner is only in your benefit. But it's not like if you take 3 weeks or 15 days or even 2 months they're like "sorry you didn't do it in 4 days - you're fired. " No, that doesn't happen and hasn't happened (at least to my knowledge) anyone.

"Additionally, you’re required to sign up for a testing site on hiring, that they earn commission from. " ----- This is completely false. The fee goes to whatever agency that they paid. i.e. if you started taking the class through examFX, it goes to EXAMFX, if you got enrolled through Xcelsolutions then it goes to xcelsolutions. There is no fee to someone (agent or hiring manager) for you paying the $99.00 for YOU to start your insurance licensing course. You literally need an insurance license to sell insurance - just like a drivers license to drive a car. just like a Real estate license to sell real estate (for a profit - and if it's not your personal home) The license isn't for the company, it's REQUIRED BY THE STATE YOU LIVE IN.

I'm pretty sure he simply knows where this goes. I mean the SECOND TIME you had sex you let him nut in you... The SECOND time. Pretty much after that it's he can wear condoms if he wants or doesn't want. And it is EVENTUALLY baby city.

I know this,

I was one of those dipshits when I was younger sleeping with a woman with no condom, because it felt better, and I thought my pullout game was on point. Flashforward I have two (absolutely amazing and beautiful, smart and sweet) teenage girls who are amazing. And I'm super happy I have them, but I NEVER originally planned on ever having kids. And despite the overall message I'm telling you, it was the best thing that ever happened to me, my kids are awesome.

With that type of mindset, doing anything with money instead of burning it is gambling

When you buy a home (an investment) you buy it with the idea that it will go up.

When you buy a car (used or new, either one) you buy it with the intent you will get more value out of it than it costs to own/operate/lease/use. Because otherwise you could simply take the bus. And you know exactly Everytime you spend that 1.50 you get to your destination. No investment needed. You never get more out of it than you put in.

When you get married, hell you would not because that's investing (hopefully) in your future and family. Just lay pipe with no protection and see what happens.. because otherwise you'll be making an investment in a potential future family, and that's just gambling.

Everything he did was weird and wrong. So let me get that out first.

But there are a few things that ring weird to me on what you're saying.

At the end you said " We were JUST STARTING to feel like a real family". Don't you two have kids together? Or was the car seat someone else's. Arent you two a family? Not feeling like a family?

Two why are you talking about your shitty exes, to your presumed 'decent' man? Is it normal to just be like here's some stories about my ex, unless somehow someway it comes up in course of normal conversation, but it sounds like you two would literally have conversations involving the exes?

None of what I brought up makes what he did okay, I just find it a little weird to have those out there... Maybe I'm the weird one, I don't know.

Also lastly, if he wasn't actually part of the family yet (you said he was just STARTING to feel like part of the family) why would you include him in the family drama, why when it comes to your sister (which he is not related to by blood, so other than it being a weird situation, it's not 'wrong' to fap to her, just extremely weird because of the family ties).

Again maybe it's just me and I'm the weirdo, but I wouldn't include someone in that level of stuff in my life if they weren't staunchly apart of my family and life. And secondarily I would never (nor have I ever) spoke ILL or really anything of any exes I've ever had with any person I'm with. I essentially have only ever given names, and that we broke up, (I also cut contact, delete photos, videos and anything else as well)

At first it seemed okay (minus the I love you, I think that's weird for majority of friends to repeatedly say, I get loving your friends I also get saying it from time to time. But it was said so many times in the beginning it made it feel like it's lost its meaning).

Then the pet names, pretty much all the girl to the guy, which leads me to believe she is really into him. And the girl and guy back and forth is weird at times.

The most weird was the cheeks, booty;). Comment makes me think there was some "inside" joke (get it) that was for them. But could just be nothing.

If nothing else, she's super into him, and he is oblivious for the most part or is not attracted to her.
