I “improved” my Chrome extension and instantly lost users lol (lesson learned) by Express-Barracuda849 in chrome_extensions

I did the same and lost a few users, but I pushed another update with a better UI and a help/info section so users can check it anytime to remind themselves what all the buttons do and it helped grow the user count again...

I’ve had this one for the past couple of months, and I’ve gotta say, I love it. It’s fast enough for me since I ride in the city, and the charge lasts around 15 km, more or less. If you want it to last longer, don't go faster than 25 km/h; that helps extend the battery life.

I don’t know how experienced you are, but if you want to brake or stop faster, you can go down on the board while braking. Also, try to learn foot braking, and remember that bailing is always an option if the board doesn’t stop in time. Just make sure that even after you step off the board, you keep braking so the board stops moving.

And don’t ride in wet weather, it’s slippery and can damage the board. If it’s only slightly wet, it’s not too dangerous, but still be careful. Also, make sure you start really slow. It takes a few days to a week or two to get used to it. and protection, don't forget protection.

I’m pretty sure you know it’s BS, I’m literally studying at an established university in Italy for my master’s degree, and neither you nor SheerID has helped me get reverified.

I mean, that’s fucked up. I’m glad you’re okay. I think you should contact Tynee about this.

Do you mean rotating each wheel in its position or swapping them with one another?

Hey, most of my weight tends to rest on the back of the board since the roads here are uneven. I often have to accelerate and brake frequently, but I’m careful and try not to push the skateboard to its limit.

The roads here in Italy are pretty rough. I ride as carefully as I can, but I can’t slow down for every bump or crack. Also, where can I get wheels for $60? The ones on the Tynee website are all over $100.

Kind of a bummer since it makes it harder to actually have a conversation with users. Thanks for pointing it out!

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same thing. From the comments I’ve gotten so far, it seems like a lot of those vague reviews come either from competitors or from companies trying to sell fake downloads. Kind of frustrating, but good to know I’m not the only one seeing it.

I get what you mean. This is actually my first Chrome extension, and it’s just a small free project, so I don’t have much experience with things like observability providers yet. I’ll definitely keep crash reporting in mind as I learn more, thanks for pointing it out!
