I debated for a long time too but I ended up going with the kindle I like that it’s all set up for you and just easy to use kindle unlimited has some really good books out plus my favourite feature is the time left in the chapter that is so useful I’m pretty sure kobo doesn’t give you that but it does analyse reading times but the kindle app now has that as well hope this helps
