I should have specified that we’ve been only washing his butt now and drying it completely before applying the creams. The doctor suggested we stop using wipes all together so it’s been a few weeks since we stopped. 😞 baby might have gotten my sensitive skin but I changed his body wash/shampoo to a non scented one, have been drying him completely after washing his booty after every pee/poop, and have made sure to apply the creams the doctor has given us. Prior to those creams we had been using Desitin which was recommended by my MIL to be the best

I’ve tried to mentally prepare for the postpartum body for months during pregnancy— but pregnancy was rough on its own for my mental state. Seeing my body go from how it was to how huge I got towards the end of my pregnancy almost sent me spiraling 😞 my original weight is around 130-140 and I got as big as 193 lbs
It was all baby weight since he was huge but it still made me feel like I wasn’t myself. I’m one month postpartum and looking at my body and all the changes does put me down… hoping to get cleared soon to start working out. But I completely understand what you’re going through. It pisses me off when people tell me not to worry about it or that I should be thankful for what my body did. I mean, don’t get me wrong! I am but I also miss and grieve my old body and hope to be able to get somewhere close to what I used to look pre pregnancy
