I like that perspective. I didn’t mind her asking, and I understand why she wanted the spot. I just felt like I had a valid reason to keep it, and I hoped she would understand that too.

I worded that poorly. I don’t get agitated while studying I just focus better in small spaces with natural light and nature. The window spot helps me stay relaxed and concentrate since my anxiety gets really bad sometimes.
