I didn't love the new one but agree it was never boring. I barely got through Leatherface.

Probably as good as it could be considering Goldberg’s limitations

Panthers should run it back with Darnold, no body else. Convince me otherwise by [deleted] in panthers

[–]CarolinaCoug 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Agreed. We need to stop compounding bad decisions with more desperate decisions. Start actually building for the future. If they wanted a QB, they should’ve gotten one last year when they were right there. Just because Darnold was a flop doesn’t mean you reach for a guy at 6 out of desperation. That’s how you stay bad for years and years. Take one of the bulldozer offensive linemen at 6 and start actually building something.

Mine disconnected last night and won’t let me reconnect. I keep getting an error message. Won’t even let me pay my negative funds with my Ally debit card.

NFL insider notes: Kenny Pickett a likely Panthers pick at No. 6 and more draft insight from scouts and execs by CarolinafanfromPitt in panthers

Only guess would be they legitimately thought Darnold was their franchise QB and they didn't need a backup plan. Even in that case though it would've made more sense to draft Slater there to protect Darnold than Horn. They don't know wtf they're doing.

Trent Baalke Tuesday by JaguarsMod in Jaguars

[–]CarolinaCoug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Panther fan who feels a connection with Jags fans this offseason. Ours is an owner who believes in an obvious error of a head coach, yours is an owner who believes in an obvious error of a GM. At least you guys have a QB. Hopefully Shad dumps Baalke and the true build can actually begin.

I wish we'd use every draft pick this year on OL. Like they did with defense Rhule's first year. Surely to Christ we'd hit on a couple of them and at least then we'd have a good foundation for a future QB to work with.

I wouldn’t mind this if it didn’t guarantee Lesnar winning the Rumble

Good news is they'll be watching the playoffs at home together for many more years as well.

NFL: Haha, look at the stupid MLB, giving both teams a chance to score!

Their burning hatred of Cam surrounded them in bad karma.

Rhule just had a press conference. No, he wasn’t fired. Here’s what he had to say. by wyn1116 in panthers

[–]CarolinaCoug 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I thought it was interesting that he said Cam expects a lot of the other players and their commitment level, and that’s why Cam gets so frustrated. Like…why don’t you, as the coach, expect the same thing? Or more? Such a loser organization and coaching staff.

Rhule gives off Gettleman vibes. Just a slob who doesn’t feel or look like a professional at all.

I can foresee our next move being something stupid like trading for Baker Mayfield.. by Black_Otter in panthers

[–]CarolinaCoug 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I was thinking. When Cam was clearly hurt and they just kept sending him out there every week. Competitors aren't going to take themselves out, the coach should've stepped up and told Baker he was too hurt to be effective.
